“Food good, service ?”
Reviewed 1 August 2013 via mobile

Food was good, fish and chips were excellent big portions, Wednesday is all you can eat spaghetti ,pretty good , chicken fried steak also good and fairly priced, interesting decor with a great gift shop. Felt sorry for the waitress she was handling to many tables, they need to get her help, she was very friendly and nice, just stretched to thin. We would eat there again.

“Average food, good service”
Reviewed 15 July 2013

We visited Branding Iron for the second time before doing some white water rafting. The food was average - I have to agree with the other reviews on here and say it felt like it was frozen food that was reheated for us. Our party ordered burgers, pork tenderloin, and chicken tenders. Everything looked like it came from a box.

The service was really good, though. Our waitress was very attentive and addressed any of our needs. I would like to say I'd recommend Branding Iron to others passing through Buena Vista, but I'm sure you can find other places to eat with much better food.

“Interesting entrance”
Reviewed 14 July 2013

The entrance to the Branding Iron is a gift shop, and at first we weren't sure how to get into the place. The restaurant itself has interesting items all over the walls, which you can buy if you like.
We came for lunch a little after 11:00 am and was informed that they don't service lunch on Sundays until noon. The only menu we had was breakfast so ended up eating a second breakfast that day. The omelet and hash browns were good but the toast was cold. Neither of us were offered refills on our drinks but other than that the service was good. I doubt we would return, not because it was bad but because there are other places we prefer.

“Green chile breakfast burrito”
Reviewed 14 July 2013 via mobile

They have green chile, and it's good! Service was excellent, they gave us the remote and let us watch NBC Sports on Sunday morning, and the atmosphere is way cool in a mountain town sort of way. Go to there.

“Branding Iron”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

In my opinion, this is an average restaurant. The food was fine, the service was fine and the atmosphere was fine as well. Our experience was neither outstanding or totally horrible. Would I go back? Maybe if there was nothing else to choose from, but like I said it was "average" all the way.
