This is a small and quaint yet amazing stable with friendly tour guides and well mannered horses. We went on a 3 hour guided tour in the summer of 2007, and no other horseback riding tour we've experienced (to date) has come close to being as involved or memorable! The back-woods tour took us over mountains and through streams to witness picturesque views. Unlike other tours that send you out in a group of 30, there were three of us in our group, and we were the only three on the tour. There was no rush, and the horses didn't make that mad dash back to the stable. My father-in-law is now taking our same Colorado trip, and we've booked him with the Harvard City Stables. Since they don't have a website, we made it a point to call around Buena Vista to find this stable. We didn't know the name of the stable; we just knew the general location. Lucky for us, the nice people from Mt. Pleasant RV Park knew which stable we were referring to. I would strongly suggest these guys to anyone looking for a charming ride off the beaten path. You won't regret it!
