Surrounded by few fast food places, this restaurant is a good choice for a decent meal. Luckily, the food is good - freshly cooked and supplied, some are really delicious. If you are driving by here through I-70, it will be a while before you get to stops that have food. So don't hesitate and try it.

We drove up and from the look of the place, we thought about going somewhere else but Lucky Garden had been recommended by 2 locals so we went in. What a surprise! The buffet is small, but everything was fresh and the steam pans were constantly being refilled. The hot and sour soup was good, the chicken on a stick was lightly fried (!) instead of grilled and delightful. The crab rangoons were very crispy and well filled with the cream cheese stuffing. If we lived around Burlington we would absolutely eat there again.

We would never have stopped @ an Asian buffet restaurant while traveling except we read a review of this restaurant on another website & the trailblazer who wrote his review was responsible for every other reviewer (roadtraveler) stopping in & trying the Lucky Garden. I am no exception. It was a great experiment. The food was good, the pans of food on the steamtable were monitored & replinished often, the service was courteous & quick, the fortune cookies were delish, and they serve a tea called Thai Tea that is heavenly. So, if you like to try new things on your journeys, be they short or long, try The Lucky Garden. You will be very pleased & most satisfied.
