First time here..total surprise! Wonderful food. Table of 3 friends;all ordered different food. pate plate to open. Nice surprise ! pate , sausage, cheese onion, pickle, country mustard. Superb! On to duke, sordfish, and tornedos au poivre. All were just perfect. dessert to share...a flourless. Hocolate cake. Meal 5 stars. Now the downside......for a Tuesday, thry were quite empty, but sat us in the same small room. They read you the French menu (which is quite nice) but as each table comes i to this very small room, you hear it over and over, and over. Quite irritating. the restaurant is a old home. Even on a sloer night....spread the people out for a little privacy. Otherwise a totally delightful experience. We will be back! Service people knowledgeable and efficient

I actually had breakfast at their bakery next door in the morning, and dinner there that evening. Chef Daniel and his wife were very nice people, and this was one of the best meals I have eaten in a very long time. I had the steak au poivre, which is always a favorite of mine in any French restaurant, and I would highly recommend it. It's in an old Victorian house in downtown Canon City, the last place you would expect to find a great French restaurant. Definitely worth driving out of your way to go visit!

We recently enjoyed a great lunch there with our family. The entrees were superbly prepared, with generous portions. We've eaten at the finest places in San Francisco, New York, and Europe, and I cannot think of any other fine-dining restaurant that serves so many delicious vegetables. It has small-town charm and perfectly-executed meals. A must-try!

We ate at Le Petit Chablis on 12th September and had the best French meal we have had in the USA. In fact it rivals the best meals we've eaten on our many trips to France. My canard a` l'orange was truly memorable. Chef Daniel was friendly and interesting to chat with. Of course the next day we had to visit the bakery for breakfast and something to take for a picnic lunch. All delicious.

We recently stopped in Canon City for an overnight, and we visited Le Petit Chablis for dinner. What a delightful experience! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was homey and intimate. Chef Daniel and his wife, Michelle, are warm and friendly. When we learned that they have a bakery next door, we skipped the free hotel breakfast the next morning to return for hot coffee, croissants and baguettes. We highly recommend Le Petit Chablis, and we hope we have an opportunity to return in the future!
