Now here is a restaurant that really deserves to be better known! Bunk House features grass-fed beef from the farm of the owners, and for those who aren't familiar (I suggest reading Michael Pollan's "The Omnivore's Dilemma or just reading the health info on eatwild.com) if you're going to eat beef, it's really the only way to go. Far healthier and leaner than normal factory-farmed, grain-fed beef, and everything at Bunk House benefits from similar care in selection and cooking.
Their brioche-style buns are excellent, and you definitely want to go with the excellent home-made potato chips that come free with your burger rather than the just-okay fries that cost extra. Very good value for money as well.
These folks are nowhere near as busy as they ought to be - I suspect that many locals don't know about the virtues of grass-fed meat - so do give them a try!
