“Interesting Menu and good food”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

Everything our table of three tried was terrific. Warm blue cheese dip with home made chips, maple smoked pork belly with apple butter, and entrees of crispy chicken (very juicy), pork shoulder (delicious), and a shoulder filet served with onion butter. Service was great. All in all a very enjoyable evening.

“Wonderful discovery”
Reviewed 14 March 2014

I was taken to Town for dinner by friends who live in Old Snowmass. What a wonderful introduction to Carbondale. The Town menu is eclectic, but almost every dish cried out to be tried. Among the highlights: crispy pig's ears with Frank's blue cheese dip (crisp on the outside yet still moist and chewy inside); roast bone marrow with apple marmalade and grilled frisee (more please!); kale, pecan, parmesan and cranberry salad (healthy eating never tasted so good); rabbit tacos (apologies to Bugs Bunny); gruyere mac & cheese with ham and rosemary bread crumbs (a "simple dish" executed perfectly); butternut squash enchiladas.

This creative menu is accompanied by a wonderful array of Colorado craft beers on tap and bottled as well as a few international offerings.

Town is a wonderful, informal restaurant that delivers delicious and imaginative food at a very fair price.

“A gem in the neighborhood”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

I love Carbondale, CO. Great little town with awesome restaurants. Town is one of those. Had the braised pork tonight and it was very good. Service excellent. But the fried cheese curds. Well....Divine.

“Interesting menu”
Reviewed 15 February 2014 via mobile

The menu here is very interesting, but the flavors sometime seem forced and don't always live up to the expectation that the menu generates. That said, the food is good, but IMO, not up to the former 689 or Glenwood's Pullman. Great staff and always good service. Definitely worth a try and judge for yourself still a bright spot in the Carbondale restaurant scene.

“Big selection of drinks, limited menu”
Reviewed 2 February 2014 via mobile

Trendy atmosphere, huge selection of wines and drinks. I was looking for a basic salad. All they had was Arugala and Kale, neither of which are my favorites. I had the chowder, which had a lot of mussels and was very tasty, in part due to heavy use of butter. My friend had the Mac and cheese, and enjoyed it. Service was very good, prices reasonable. Maybe not best choice if you looking for something "South Beach" diet friendly.
