this was a father's day gift, we booked through groupon, everyone was so nice from the first phone call through the drop off, we couldn't have been happier with the crew. We started with a continental breakfast while everyone was arriving, rode up in a large van, had time at the top, and were given a safety check on brakes, helmets, gloves, etc. They had enough clothes for anyone that wasn't appropriately dressed. They were extremely careful through out the trip downhill, waiting at hairpin curves to keep uphill cars on their side of the road. We had a stop and snack partway down. Some decided not to ride uphill for some of the route and they got to ride in the vans until they were comfortable riding again. It was a fantastic trip and we would do it again. Lunch at Wines of Colorado was wonderful with several choices, we were quickly seated on the outdoor patio and served our pre selected choices. Loved this trip!!!

My family and I booked a tour with Challenge Unlimited in July 2012 and had a fantastic experience! The staff that handled our reservations and accompanied us down Pikes Peak were superb and friendly. They made us feel safe and regularly checked our bikes and brakes throughout the ride down the mountain, all the while talking to us and creating a warm and family-friendly atmosphere for all guests. Of all the activities we took part in in Colorado, this was the one I most looked forward to, and Challenge Unlimited did NOT disappoint! Thank you for the wonderful memories! Highly recommended!

This was our second time to ride bikes down Pike's Peak and we highly recommend it! This time we took the cog rail up (last time we rode buses up), ate the special doughnuts at the top, and rode bikes down. On the last part of the bike ride we stopped and had lunch. See http://www.bikithikit.com/ "Cog up/Bike Down" selection. The cog rail ride was very enjoyable with narrations of the sights along the way; the aspens were brilliant. The ride down is exhilarating - 20 miles with only a few hills to pedal or push your bike up. Select a sunny day for a beautiful ride down the mountain!

While researching things to do while in Denver over Labor Day I happened across a YouTube video of this tour and immediately started the booking process. The ride up in the van was a little nerve wracking but once we reached the summit we knew this was going to be an amazing adventure. The guides were friendly and very informative, explaining different sites along the way. Don't worry, there is no rush to race to the bottom, you ride at your own pace and the tour stops every so often for a brief rest/water break and to let you soak in the views or take photos.
The tour runs a little over 20 miles and took just under 3 hours to complete. Hint: if you can, get a pair of pants from REI/North Face/EMS with zip off legs to convert them into shorts. About half way down the tour you'll be happy you have them since it gets warmer.

We were so happy with this trip!!! Everyone is super helpful and kind. We weren't rushed at all, and I trailed behind the whole time! The ride is a little harder than I expected, there are 3 hills! But on the last one, we just jumped in the van and our bikes were thrown on top and we were able to get out after the hill and continue on our journey! We felt very safe the entire time and were looked after well. The lunch at the end was very good too. Challenge Unlimited provides a fantastic service with everyone looking out for you from beginning to end. Highly recommend booking this!!!
