“Awesome - especially for longer stays”
Reviewed 9 August 2012

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The rooms are like mini apartments complete with dishes and silverware. We only stayed two nights but wished we'd stayed longer. Really liked how quiet it was. Not far from restaurants and shopping tho. Very clean!

Since our first stay here in 2011 we have stayed here at least 4 other times. The service is great, friendly staff and always clean. This is our favorite place to stay in the Springs. You are close to shopping, restaurants and the movies.

Stayed four days with the family. We had two rooms that were perfect. Good breakfast and wonderful staff. The kids enjoyed the tennis, golf, basketball and the pool (even with its small size). The location is pretty far noth but it was easy to deal with. The staff members are top notch. Thanks.

We stayed here for a week in July, and I highly recommend this property, I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor with a great view of Pike's Peak to start my mornings..........the breakfast is INSANE and honestly after staying in many 4 star locations around the country....even those that prepare your breakfast right in front of you, this breakfast was hands down the BEST EVER ! Strawberry waffles are what I miss the most :) Room and entire unit was very clean, and well worth the price we paid for our stay. If I had to be VERY picky, I did have a very small problem with the sink that would back up and drain very slowly, and in the middle of the night would have water come up from the drain out of nowhere ??? Upon check in we were greeted by a staff member, Pam, who was very warm and seemed happy that we stopped in to visit.....very personable and detail oriented........It would be a big mistake to overlook this property based on some of the negative comments I read here below, my experience here was 1st class all the way !!

Room Tip: Room 309 is INCREDIBLE, the others I cannot speak of since I have only stayed there once.

We stayed here during the fires in Colorado Springs since my husband could not get down the pass for work. We were here a week and had a great time. It was really clean, the room was big, they had a putting green and tennis court outside that the kids loved. They also had a nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great and the staff was amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

We always are happy with Residence Inn, and this one was no different. The breakfasts were hot and different each morning. The evenings had snacks and drinks on the house. The rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable.
The reason I gave this 4 stars were constant problems with the rooms keys needing to be rescanned by the front desk as they would quit working.

We usually stay at the Marriott but it was full so we tried the Residence Inn and I'm glad we did. The property is well maintained and the hotel has recently been remodeled. There's a small tennis court and a putting green there. We walked around the area in the evening and we never felt afraid or threatened in any way. There are a few restaurants in the area. The breakfast was good, the only thing is there isn't a lot of room to move around in the area where the food is. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there the night the fire started though and it was smoky. We left the following morning. We were on the 3rd floor and we had the elephant people above us so we woke up bright and early from the noise. Ask for a top floor room.

Room Tip: Ask for top floor facing the mountains
