We attended the ceremony this year that honors fallen firefighters. My husband is a firefighter and a friend of his was being honored this year. There is a black marble wall with names of the fallen heros on it. (Think Vietnam memorial wall). The ceremony was amazing...even if you cannot be there for the yearly ceremony, it is worth paying the park a visit and pay your respects. The beautiful park is large with a lot of large trees for shade. The memorial wall and statues are moving. I am so happy that such a place exists to honor those who gave their lives through such a noble service.
