Perhaps I have a favorable bias toward The Melting Pot to begin with, since I can't think of too many things I'd rather eat than cheese and chocolate. But dinner we had this past weekend at The Melting Pot was truly exceptional. We have been there before and just had the cheese and chocolate (when we didn't want to leave completely stuffed), but this time we did the whole four course meal. They've changed the menu since we were there last, but we didn't opt for any of the brand new choices. We were celebrating an anniversary and the staff was very cognizant of it ... in fact, we were asked about it and congratulated so many times by different people that it was a little overboard by the end. But the staff was very nice, including the manager Amanda and especially our server Lauren. It's a wonderful place to go for a special-occasion dinner.
