“Finally”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

My wife and I found a Mexican restaurant in northern California that prepared everything from scratch and made several times a day. Having read the first two reviews, we gave Azada a try for lunch. WOW! It was so refreshing to build your order with the help of the very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Our food was as close to our spot in California as we have found anywhere at any Mexican restaurant big or small. The staff is very personable making you feel as if you are the only people there and they are YOUR server. Everything was seasoned well and tasted as if they had just been taken it out of the pan.
When in town we will make this a destination.

“Fresh food, friendly staff, great location at this national burrito chain knockoff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2014

Recently added to the list of Restaurant.com locations in Colorado Springs, we thought we would give Azada Mexican Grill, on Bijou just west of Acacia Park. Very friendly staff welcomed us to the large long dining room. There were lots of options to make your own burrito for $6.50: six different meats, two rices, two beans, and several salsas. Beverages were Coke products in large fountain cups ($1.85) or plastic bottles. I tried the the carnitas with rice and whole pinto beans topped with the verde salsa. This was a perfect combination; very tasty and all fresh. Others in our party tried the chicken with refried beans and rojo meat and were very pleased. A large portion of chips came with an excellent salsa, your choice of three levels of heat. We will definitely go back!!

“Incredibly fresh, staff who enjoy their work, so much better than Chipoltle!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2014

A new addition to the Colorado Springs Bijou/Kiowa/Tejon restaurant corridor. It's a "build your own burrito" place but the similarity to the national chains ends there. I have never had such fresh tasting and well-spiced meat choices (and the counter staff is anxious to give you samples of all of them before you order). And the flour tortillas are some of the best I've ever had.
