“Nice Meal”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

The Angry Trout was worth trying. I thought that it was a bit too salty. The wine list is extensive and varied. This is a nice restaurant, good service. Get a reservation or you may not get in.

“bizzare menu”
Reviewed 18 February 2014

If you are looking for frog's legs or snails, this is your place. Most dishes contain previously undiscovered types of mushrooms, or beets. Portions are meager and pricey. The staff is earnest, but honest. They wouldn't eat there. Next time we'll try the more traditional Broadmoor Tavern.

“Spotty”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

We went on a Saturday - it was busy, but not overly. The decor is nice, but don't sit in the banquet - you sink too low and many people had to use pillows. The service was pleasant, but I waited 25 minutes for a drink from the bar. When the food came out, the mussels appetizer was undercooked - many shells not even opened. The entrees we ordered were good, but very oversalted. The salmon entree was very small. Two of the side items we ordered never came out. All in all, an average restaurant with some promise, but if they are going to charge what they charge, I expect more.

“Great business dinner...”
Reviewed 5 February 2014

So, first, it's a the Broadmoor so you expect the food to be great... and it didn't disappoint. I had a hangar steak and fries (yes, fries). Normally that's a tasty but tough meat, but this literally melted in my mouth with wonderful flavor all around. Tasted like a filet mignon. And the fries... so you'd think you can't do much with them but they were absolutely savory and unique. The sauce on the hangar was fabulous as well and matched well with the micro brews on tap. Certainly a little on the more expensive side but the quality is well worth it. Service was flawless as well.

“Enjoyed the service and atmosphere”
Reviewed 29 December 2013 via mobile

The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was very knowledgable and thorough. When I asked for a suggestion they had prepared exactly what my taste buds were looking for. I highly suggest the escargot it melts in your mouth.
