We liked having the two for $20 deal. Waitress got one of our meat selections wrong so we had to wait a little longer to get order but they comped us $10. Waitress was very friendly and checked on us often.

I hadn't been to Applebee's for over a year and was really impressed with their menu selection. It's menu had something everyone in our family (2 adults/2 kids) found to enjoy.

Definitely plus that it was within walking distance to the Hyatt Place we were staying.

For example: If you stay at the nearby hyatt-place-hotel - dont take your car, to get out. Go four minutes and you can reach the Apllebee's. Sure, it is not a top-notch, but you would get good value for two. Because you can order a 2-for-20-Dollar-Menue. We had spinach-and-artichoke-dip (good!) and then as main-course a riblet basket (good!) and a small steak (ok) with fresh vegetables. 20 Dollar - that's in my opinion a very good value for a quick neighborhood-dinner. The restaurant itself is getting a little old and dusty, but clean. The service was quick and friendly.

Slow, surly service.

House margaritas were bitter, with no apparent alcohol content.

Waitress rolled her eyes at every request. Took three tries to get a piece of lemon for water for everyone at the table.

Waitress asked us how our food was ten seconds after three of eight people had been served. I told her we might have an answer after everyone had their food and had a chance to taste it. Rolled her eyes again.

Fried shrimp was over cooked. Fries were limp. Cocktail sauce had no noticeable horseradish. Cole slaw was tasteless.

This place is too bad to even discuss with the manager. Just not going back.

Applebee's restaurants vary from OK to terrible. This one is on the low end.

We stayed at the Quality Inn and suites which was very close by. When we checked in the desk clerk said we would get 10% of we ate at Applebees, so that's where we went. It was close. The food was good and it was very convenient to the motel
