We (2 adults, 3 kids) had an excellent dinner on a snowy night when I-70 was closed. The atmosphere is upscale, so definitely no coloring books for the jr crowd. The host did a great job accommodating our family and our very wet coats and accessories.

The service (Anna) was top notch, food came out quickly and cooked to perfection. The host came back as we were finishing to make sure we were satisfied. We were in and out in 1 hour. Will definitely go back before our vacation is over.

We've eaten here fairly regularly over the years and the experience has been a little frustrating every time. It's a great location, the restaurant looks attractive and the menu interesting ..... but it's certainly not cheap, and somehow I've always left feeling that the evening hadn't lived up to expectations or the size of the check. I think the service has a lot to do with it. It's not that anyone is actually rude but they aren't particularly welcoming or interested. I always have the feeling that we are not really the sort of people who they were hoping would be eating there; are we too old, too foreign, not rich enough? Overall, probably the best food and ambiance in Copper but certainly at the highest price.

A shame that the dreadful service from Cliff marred what could have been a great evening as the food was delicious. Hope for those that go after us they do not experience the same.

We are regular visitors to Copper Mountain. Our family always takes the time to visit CB Grille once during our stay. It is a welcome change to relax and enjoy something other than pub fare on the mountain. On a recent visit I ordered the Grilled Pork Chop. I have to say that after many visits to CB Grille this would be one of my favorites. We have also enjoyed the prime rib and sea scallops on other visits. Our server even brought wine tastings of various Malbecs so we could decide which bottle to order with dinner. I recommend planning a visit if you would like to enjoy a nice sit-down dining experience in Copper.

We used to visit CB Grill every Saturday during ski season and even made time during the summer. The food used to be outstanding and special, the service attentive to make us feel special, and the wine selection as well as the recommendations were outstanding! We thought why even go to Breck or Vail to find such an outstanding restaurant.
NOW it's a new story and we are not impressed with the food, the service or the ambiance anymore. I made early reservations to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends over President's Day weekend. We were placed so close to a table of many, including screaming, demanding kids that it was hard to have a conversation. Secondly, the wait staff was overworked and behind with their orders, so we were only allowed to order drinks and appetizers first. The new manager was too busy figuring out the new computer than to warmly welcome the new guest. It was the older woman with the long braid who has been there for many years that continued to greet guest with friendliness and attention to service. She is the only gem there besides the bar tender who are left from the previous management.
The food is overpriced and average now. It caters to a more burger and stake oriented crowd without uniqueness. Beer was all that we ordered; no wine anymore.
We'll give it one more try, but if it's the same, there are other places that feature similar food that is less expensive.
