After a long motorcycle ride from Telluride by way of Gallup, N.M., over a challenging 4WD mountain pass in the rain, we were exhausted and VERY hungry. My boyfriend had been looking forward to eating at Kip's in Creede for DAYS and couldn't wait to get there. We ordered dinner, and then decided to add the "pork shank appetizers" on a whim -- a small order gave us 3 drumstick-sized pieces of mouthwatering smoked bone-in pork. Possibly the most delicious thing either of us have ever eaten! Nice job, Kip's! Great guitar player, ice cold beverages, good service, excellent food, friendly atmosphere with upstairs deck seating.... Can't wait to go back!
