The "Last Chance" room (recommended by the owner) at the Firehouse, should have been "Last Choice" in Creede. The room was hot, with thick dust on the blinds and many surfaces. We felt it was unclean. The top sheet of the queen or double bed must have been for a twin bed; it hardly covered the surface. We hoped it was changed between visitors. The owner-manager was not especially friendly and welcoming. The best part was the breakfast downstairs which was excellent. We may eat there again, but we'll stay elsewhere.

What a lovely place! The folks who own it are top notch and the restaurant next door where you eat breakfast is a great place too. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was amazing! The Repertory Theatre is right across the street and the couple who owns the B&B made some great hiking recommendations. We even saw a moose on our trek up to the waterfalls. The soap and candle shop upstairs is a great place for a nice souvenir too. I would highly recommend the Old Firehouse B&B for your Creede accomodations!

This B&B is simply the best!!! It is located across from the Creede Repertory Theater on main street right in the heart of Creede. The rooms are nicely furnished in antique furniture. The beds have pillow top mattresses which will make you want to stay in bed all day.

The best part is that The Old Firehouse resturant offers the best breakfast in town and when you stay there it is free! Most B&B's offer some type of abbreviated breakfast or continetal breakfast like you receive at the change hotels. At The Old Firehouse you dine in the restaurant and can select from the full menu.

The Managers here Charles & Brenda went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We will be back!

Stayed in the Kentucky Belle, it was my favorite place to stay during my entire vacation to SW Colorado. It was charming and very roomy for just one person, quiet and peaceful, everything I was looking for. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. It was within walking distance of everything I wanted to do while in Creede, and the proprietor gave me great ideas for the day, driving the Bachelor Loop and enjoying the beautiful golden aspens. I will definitely be coming back to this delightful place many times in the future. The bed was as soft as a down pillow to sleep on, I felt absolutely luxurious.

We stayed in the large front room overlooking the street and it was nicely furnished and clean. We were concerned about traffic noise but after 10 pm there was no traffic. Breakfast was very good and the location across the street from the fantastic rep theater and the adjacent Creede Hotel Restaurant can't be beat.

One thing about Creede, you can stay right in town and not have to worry about traffic noise. It is a very quiet little town after dark.

We visit Creede to go to the Creede Repertory Theatre. The Old Firehouse B&B is right across the street from the theatre in the heart of "downtown" Creede. The first time we came to Creede, I had feared that Main Street would be too busy, so I booked accomodations elsewhere, on the main highway. This was a big mistake. The highway was noisy. Turns out there is virtually no traffic through town, so even rooms looking down on Main Street (as ours did here--the Commodore Room) are quiet.

The rooms are upstairs here, and it is necessary to climb a steep flight of stairs to reach them (no elevator that I saw). Our room was large, comfortable and clean, though it got kind of warm upstairs in the summertime.

Breakfast is made to order in the restaurant below the B&B. Nothing fancy--sort of diner style--but tasty enough.
