West wall lodge was the by far the best luxury ski accommodations we've stayed in "The Butte"! Truly ski in ski out at its best! Try Rice in town for dinner and secret stash is a must for pizza. As for dining on the mountain, Ugley's Cabin with great French wine, yeah!

Easily the best lodge/condo in CB. This was our fifth stay at West Wall Lodge, and now the only place in CB we want to stay at. Every unit we have rented has been large and luxurious. The staff has been amazingly helpful with any request. They make you feel like you are the only guest they are there to serve. The facilities are all outstanding and only add to the luxury feel.

Room Tip: Both mountain/inside view and facing out and away units have nice views. Outside views in A and C b...

WestWall’s location and accommodations were just perfect for a weekend getaway with my sister. Situated just a few miles outside of Crested Butte in Mt. Crested Butte, WestWall is close enough to town to grab a quick bite but far enough to feel like you are getting away from the stresses of everyday life. Our spacious 2/2.5 condo was outfitted with everything we could need for a long weekend as well as a great deck for enjoying the fabulous views over morning coffee or evening wine. But while other places in Crested Butte may have similar offerings (though I doubt any are much better), what really set WestWall apart was the service. From pre-trip planning to restaurants to the local hiking spots, Hospitality Manager Sarah Ramon was eager to help with great recommendations that made our trip a success. I cannot recall ever having one person so concerned about making every aspect of a weekend trip perfect. I look forward to my next visit to WestWall and trust that with Sarah’s help, it will again exceed all expectations.

Room Tip: The building is somewhat of a horseshoe shape facing the mountain. In my opinion, rooms in the midd...

Spent 1 week at WestWall last week with family, cousins and had a great time. Accommodations were second to none, we stayed in a 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath unit which was plenty for 9 of us. Skin in / ski out access to the mountain, staff was very helpful and friendly.
This wasn't the first visit to WestWall and definitely will not be the last.

My wife and I spent a week at the WestWall Lodge in early January. We have been coming to Crested Butte for 20 years and have stayed at many different properties in the area. I can say that our stay at WestWall was by far our most enjoyable. The residence that we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The resort offers all the amenities that you need and none that you don't. The fitness facility has everything you need for a good workout and the steam room and hot tub worked wonders on sore muscles. The access to the ski resort could not be any better. The WestWall lift is right outside the door and it opens 15 minutes earlier than the ones at the base area so you will not miss first chair on a powder day. The small bar in the WestWall Alpine Club was a great spot to unwind after another epic day of skiing in Crested Butte. I would highly recommend WestWall Lodge to anyone looking for luxury ski in ski out accomodations in Mt. Crested Butte.

we stayed three nights in a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom condo for 4 adults for $275/night, with views of the mountains. absolutely gorgeous! staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with anything we asked. we were there for the wildflower festival - which was fantastic - and enjoyed the town of crested butte and the short ride up the mountain to our lodge. highly recommend this lodge.

This property is everything that everyone says it is. The underground parking would be awesome during the winter.
>>Be careful renting a unit in A Building that faces the patio/pool/hot tub during summer months. The sound carries easily into the rooms and all it takes are a group of loud kids/dogs or a weekend party to intrude on your peace and quiet. Guests are unaware of the echo and noise generated and there are no signs. The management of Westwall is aware of it, but don't seem to manage to it. We were told if it got too loud after 8 PM when the front desk closes to feel free to call the authorities. Right. People are down there all hours of the night.
That said, it is an awesome property, great amenities, great views.
Try to rent from an owner on VRBO or similiar website and you can save $$$.
