Stayed at the Elk Mountain Lodge over Labor Day and had a great time! The lodge is rustic, welcoming, homey and comfortable. Rooms are pertty basic and clean. Great location in town, great breakfast. Staff went out of their way to connect with everyone during breakfast, and gave some great suggestions for bike rides and must-see's in the area. Will definitely be back!

This was the best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed in!
The service was excellent, the food was unbelievable, and the Lodge is gorgeous and so comfortable!!!
We will stay here again and again in the future and would recommend it to anyone!!

Room Tip: Any of the rooms are great!

We had a wonderful time, the staff is super friendly. This place was originally built to house miners in the early part of the last century. The rooms are decent sizes and though not fancy, it is all quite comfortable. The windows in the room open too! There is a front porch with places to sit and a side yard with additional seats.
This is such a nice feature in a town with such great weather! There are two comfortable lounges to sit in, an indoor hot-tub in the basement.
They provide breakfast which sometimes had eggs or pancakes, but always great bread, yogurt and homemade granola. The coffee is quite decent.

Room Tip: I think any room is good, fancier options with a private balcony are upstairs.

Old miners quarters. We stayed in room 20 which was in the front of the house above the Elk Mountain Lodge sign. There is a balcony which was nice and private.(Needs more comfortable chairs) It gets warm up on the 3rd floor, but we could open our door and get some cooler air. Breakfast was fair. Not many choices. The rooms need a charging unit or more plugs for all the phones, iPads, and other electronics. But this is what a old historic building is about. Convenient to town for all the summer activities.

Within walking distance of everything and anything in Crested Butte. Clean rooms, wholesome breakfast, cooked, coffee and tea, and afternoon drinks. The entire staff is friendly and helpful...Brian is the best itch a late check-in.

We recommend the hotel for it's cleanliness, it's ambience as an historic hotel, the warmth of the staff and their knowlegde of trails etc.
We were 19 people in our group and had to eat all at the same time and they accommodated us with pleasure.
I recommend the hotel very highly and certainly will stay there again

Room Tip: Room no. 8 and other rooms on the side of the mountain are the best.

It is so much more atmospheric to stay in town rather than in the sterile and artificial mountain village. This is an old hotel - wonderful common spaces and lounges, hot tub, tea and coffee all day, good cooked breakfast, bar with great choices of alcohol and wines and cheery service. A delightful experience. The rooms are nice and clean - nothing special.

Room Tip: In the summer, ask for a corner room so you can open windows for cross ventilation.
