Can't say enough about the great drinks at the Ice Bar! Shelby is a terrific bartender and serves up delicious hot or cold cocktails at a real ice bar! Great place to get a little liquid confidence while sitting mid-mountain and basking in the Colorado sunshine!

We had friends in from out of state so we wanted to really show off what Crested Butte had to offer. The night started off pretty bad when the sleigh attendant didn't have our reservation. Thankfully the attendant put us on the phone with asssistant manager, Keegan Stoorza who knew we wouldn't have just shown up out of the blue. Keegan sent the sleigh back down the mountain to pick us up. We arrived in a short time and what a wonderful dinning experience we had. Keegan was very professional and made an extra effort to locate the reservation problem. Keegan stepped up in a situation unknowing to him and saved the night for both couples. This is good management and entertainment. We will bring guest here again. What a wonderful experience we had due to the problem solving skills of Keegan Stoorza.

We saved this special sounding event for Christmas Dinner! It did NOT disappoint! We met the "sleigh" at the base of the mt as scheduled. They had tons of blankets for everyone, which WERE needed, no Budweiswer Clydesdales, but a pretty business like cat mobile thing pulls you and the 30 other guests straight up the mt. To a fairy tale like cabin in the middle of nowhere! You are, of course, frozen, so you are happy happy to be greeted by a large fire and gracious servers at the foyer. A delicious and different cheese and meat board, complete with quail eggs and elk sausage is waiting on your candlelit table for you. We had a choice of 3 entrees, tenderloin, salmon, and duck. My salmon was the BEST and I admit to being a salmon snob! No mush, or hard edges!!!!!! It was a place totally removed from time, furnished w rustic antiques and chandeliers. You may only get there by the sleigh or skiing there! By desert, I was dying, but it too, was very, very good. I would definitely recommend this for a birthday, or any special occasion. The stars are totally amazing, the ride down is another whole experience, But another wonderful one! I will do this every year I go to Crested Butte!

This was our second sleigh dinner experience at Uleys this year. While our first visit in February was admittedly pretty lackluster food wise our Christmas night dinner more than made up for it. The filet entree was exceptional .. The salad course was great as was the lick your plate clean chocolate dessert.. The squash soup was ok but a little flavorless so salt went a long way towards helping it along and the initial charcuterie and cheese plate was as wonderful as ever. The sleigh ride up is always a fun (but very cold) experience so dress WARM for comfort and not so much for fashion ;) trust me.. I've seen women underdressed both times who complained they were cold even though heavy blankets are also provided. We were lucky to enjoy a fabulous sunset as we went up in Feb but annoyingly got cheated out of our sunset on Christmas night as the sleigh was held an extra 20 mins at the base for a no show group while 30 plus of us sat shivering .. I appreciate showing kindness by waiting a little longer and trying to call them in the room but it just went too far and ended up costing everyone else what I already know from the previous trip up would have been a spectacular display.. The stars on the way down after dinner are incredible to see since there is no light pollution to spoil it. Uleys is also a MUST for a midday ski stop off the peanut run. We love enjoying fun cold and hot drinks at the ice bar (literally a thick slab of ice) , nibbling on the fantastic charcuterie and cheese boards and taking photos of the breathtaking scenery Uleys affords to day timers as well... Don't miss it.. Both day and night are worth the trip while at Crested Butte

Great place for outside drinks on a warm April day. Brats and cold ones for lunch, yummy! The actual bar made from snow and ice is very picturesque.
