“Slow, but Tasty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014

I cannot overemphasize how slowly service moves in pretty much all the restaurants we tried in Crested Butte. Apparently, the entire town is understaffed. Or high. Could be both.

We waited about 45 minutes for our gyros, but when they came, they were really good. Also, they have a soup bar, so you can get yourself some soup to sustain you while you wait.

“Everyone, including the kids enjoyed it!”

This is a great place for something a bit different. Healthy alternatives (tofu, hummus etc as well as meats) and large portions. A large selection of stuffings for your pita. Big beer selection. Comfortable outdoor and indoor seating.

“Very tasty.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2014

The patio is very comfortable and offers some good views of the surrounding mountains as you enjoy some delicious Mediterranean style food. The portions were large and the service very quick. My only complaint is that they seem to go light on spicing. I imagine that they do this to appeal to a broader American audience. Even without the extra spices it was delicious and I'll definitely eat here again.

“MMMGOOD!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014

Impressive nachos, I really think this is a must have if you are ever in Crested Butte.

It was a mix of Greek and Curry, pitas partially fried with shaved lamb, Olives, onions, curry sauce and other yummy ingredients. This is a great appetizer for 4.

Great service and quaint/family friendly atmosphere, you get an exotic experience in Crested Butte, which is an experience in of itself! Perfect combination.

Will hopefully get back for some yummy Gyros!

“Enjoyable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014

We visited Pitas in late afternoon before the dinner crowd arrlved and enjoyed a tasty meal. My daughter had a gyro, my wife a pita, and I just had the good old beef burger commonly known as a hamburger. We will visit this establishment again on our next visit to CB.
