This is the main restaurant of the Grand Lodge in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. One end of the restaurant consists of a large, cozy fireplace, which is really nice after a day on the slopes. We enjoyed both the "simpler" menu items, such as burgers, and the dinner entrees which included both fish and steak. We also ate breakfast there most of the days we were there, since the Avalanche Bar & Grille (our favorite pancake place) no longer serves breakfast. Breakfast at the Woodstone consists of an all-you-can-eat buffet. The buffet includes both cold and hot items, eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, cinnamon rolls, etc. and was very good. Lunch and Dinner menus were both very good, just not extensive. While a bit "pricey", the prices are comparable with what you will find anywhere else in the immediate area of Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte. It was nice to feel we could have a good evening meal without having to go downtown EVERY night.

Very good service. Our wait staff was helpful and attentive but not too attentive. I had the salmon was very nicely prepared. My husband had the fish and chips. Must have been good as he ate the entire thing. The chips looked a little crispy to me but we both like them that way.

Service killed this experience. OK, it's the end of the summer season, but PLease....

We did happy? hour the first night with an obviously exhausted + unhappy bartender = Linda, then trying to give the benefit of the doubt, the next night we tried happy? hour again to a dysfunctional atmosphere blatently frustrating other guests. We ordered a hamburger to go for our son and it was nasty. I would endeavor to eat anywhere else in Crested Butte.

Stopped off after looking at wedding sites on the mountain. We were very impressed with the food for dinner and the service. Caprese burger is the best!

We stayed at the Grand Lodge and had the opportunity to dine at the Woodstone Grille several times. All of our meals were excellent! The breakfast was good and everything was prepared to our liking. I found the breakfast to be fresh and hot, and the dinners to be extremely good.

The staff was great and was able to accommodate families well. I would highly recommend the Woodstone Grille.
