This is the main restaurant of the Grand Lodge in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. One end of the restaurant consists of a large, cozy fireplace, which is really nice after a day on the slopes. We enjoyed both the "simpler" menu items, such as burgers, and the dinner entrees which included both fish and steak. We also ate breakfast there most of the days we were there, since the Avalanche Bar & Grille (our favorite pancake place) no longer serves breakfast. Breakfast at the Woodstone consists of an all-you-can-eat buffet. The buffet includes both cold and hot items, eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, cinnamon rolls, etc. and was very good. Lunch and Dinner menus were both very good, just not extensive. While a bit "pricey", the prices are comparable with what you will find anywhere else in the immediate area of Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte. It was nice to feel we could have a good evening meal without having to go downtown EVERY night.
