We just returned from eloping in Crested Butte and staying with Chris and his team at the PML. It wasn't our first time visiting CB but the first time we'd stayed at PML. What a wonderful, charming place to stay with the most pleasant proprietor and staff EVER! We had numerous conversations with Chris about the property, activities in the area, places to eat, and entertaining family stories. He helped both us and friends that wanted to gift us with dinner get reservations at truly outstanding restaurants. And the breakfast that Chris himself prepared every morning was a highlight of our trip - homemade blueberry pancakes, biscuits, egg souffle, banana waffles - on and on. To top it all off we returned after our wedding ceremony to find a beautiful bottle of champagne chilling in our room compliments of Chris and his family. Visiting the PML was like spending time with great friends - comfortable, relaxed, and appreciated. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more and will undoubtedly be back in the future!

Room Tip: The Whetstone room was one of the larger rooms and had a wonderful clawfoot tub and balcony - very cozy.

Stayed at Purple Mountain for my birthday ski trip in March. The accomodations were very homey, and the food was amazing! We felt like we could of moved in. The proprietor was extremely nice and a talented chef, as well. Would fully recommend this place to everyone.

What a great experience! This was our first ever B&B experience. The facilities were wonderful. The owner, Chris, provided every comfort and great experience that we could have asked for. He prepared breakfast as a chef, and we never knew what great breakfast we'd get that morning!

We've been Colorado residents for almost a year now and had decided to take a trip to Crested Butte for the weekend. Purple Mountain B&B was a great option and perfect location! It's within walking distance to Elk St./short cruiser ride and also a quick trip in the car to the base of the mountain, etc. We were warmly greeted upon entering by Chris, the proprietor, and he immediately checked us in and introduced himself. After giving the short tour, and showing us our room, and amenities of the B&B he also provided us with a map as we wanted to hike the next day. When we came downstairs in the morning, we were greeted by the smell of coffee and also banana waffles! Chris is a great chef - the meal was amazing! Also during breakfast, all the guests ate together, which was warm and friendly. He went over the day's events and there was a lot going, but it was nice to get the low down at the beginning of the day. Sunday's breakfast was also heavenly before we checked out and sadly, had to go home.

The Crested Butte room is very cozy; has its own stand up shower and bathroom, plus a view of the side of the house. The hot tub is perfect for unwinding after a day of activity and very hot. Overall, this is the best B&B we have ever stayed at - and we've stayed at quite a few! We love the Purple Mountain Lodge B&B and absolutely will return! Thanks Chris for a great stay!

Great place to stay, everytime we have been there it has been awesome. Great location, bikes if you want them. This B&B has a real down home feel, like you could move right in. Excellent hot tub to enjoy after a night out on the town. Our room was a little small but, the breakfast made up for it. Check this place out
