“Excellent food, great service, nice locals bar and restaurant”
Reviewed 4 October 2012

We were invited by friends who live near Highland Pacific to have a casual dinner recently. We've been by this place a few times, but had not ventured in. We'll be back now!

The menu has a NOLA flair, and I enjoyed a penne pasta with crawfish in a spicy light cream sauce. My wife had the seared scallops, which were outstanding. The other couple ordered the loaded baked potato gnocchi and a wonderful salmon dish. We all raved about our food.

Our waitress Dana had only been there a week, but we would not have known she wasn't a seasoned veteran if she had not mentioned it to us. The service was delightful and efficient.

We want to come back and enjoy some of the live music that plays here on a regular basis. And I can't wait to work my way through more of the menu - especially the crawfish mac and cheese.

This place is well worth a try!

“Date night”
Reviewed 23 April 2012 via mobile

Went for a date night with my husband. We wanted a fun night full of good food. Food was ok, but not great. Plus, we felt like it was over priced for the quality.
I have been for their Sunday sillies and that is fun. Mimosas are great!

“Nice Neighborhood Place, Food doesn't impress”
Reviewed 2 March 2010

We tried the Highland Pacific for the first time during restaurant week. One overdone crab cake, nice little salad, and 3 quarter-sized scallops with a mound of mashed potatoes wasn't worth the price and was just ok - nothing special. We also had the crawfish mac and cheese - fabulous, full of spice and taste! But then came the salad and crawfish monica. The monica was a small dish of pasta drowning in runny cheese with 3 bites of crawfish. We love the neighborhood and the place seemed cozy with really good service. Perhaps the Highland Pacific made the mistake of serving sub-par, cheap food during restaurant week. We REALLY wanted to like this place - but probably won't be back.

“Teriffic Seafood & Oyster Bar”
Reviewed 22 January 2009

I have had the pleasure of spending many evenings at the Highland Pacific Restaurant & Oyster Bar. These guys get the best selection and best tasting Oysters in Denver.
Their menu offers a wide variety of seafood options in addition the best Mahi Mahi Ceviche Iv ever had.
Happy hour offers some great deals on Oysters, Appetizers and Drinks. They have live music at least three nights a week with a wide range of styles.
If your ever in the area I highly recommend this place.
