We were invited by friends who live near Highland Pacific to have a casual dinner recently. We've been by this place a few times, but had not ventured in. We'll be back now!
The menu has a NOLA flair, and I enjoyed a penne pasta with crawfish in a spicy light cream sauce. My wife had the seared scallops, which were outstanding. The other couple ordered the loaded baked potato gnocchi and a wonderful salmon dish. We all raved about our food.
Our waitress Dana had only been there a week, but we would not have known she wasn't a seasoned veteran if she had not mentioned it to us. The service was delightful and efficient.
We want to come back and enjoy some of the live music that plays here on a regular basis. And I can't wait to work my way through more of the menu - especially the crawfish mac and cheese.
This place is well worth a try!
