There are displays of artwork from various artists scattered throughout the library. Enjoyed the architecture of the building.

Visited the library after reading some of the reviews. It's a decent library, but nothing out of the ordinary for an urban downtown library.

The multi-story Denver Public Library is right next to the Denver Art Museum, and is worth a stop if you are in the vicinity because they always have several rotating exhibits, and it's free! While I was there I took in an exhibit of old photos and interesting maps describing the development of various Denver neighborhoods, a display of materials relating to the American Indian and Christianity, and my favorite, the works of Colorado's first woman landscape painter Helen Henderson Chain. I would compare her paintings favorably with better-known Western artists such as Albert Bierstadt and Thomas Moran. You never can tell what you will find of interest on display at the Denver Public Library!

We came here to check out the genealogy area. The kind man working up there allowed us to log in with his id so my mom could search for a relative. This library is huge and divided up into so many different areas. 5 levels of lots of books and a great place to get lost in for the day.

The Library has an unexpected art collection, terrific old Denver pictures, has unique architecture, and of course, a great collection of books.
