“Always good!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2013

I am actually writing this review for my husband (Kerry Fischman) (he doesn't have a TA login). He often stays at this property while on business to Denver. It is a preferred hotel for his company, but even if it wasn't a preferred hotel, he would still stay there.
Whenever he stays at the hotel, he is always greeted warmly and sincerely. The staff is always very accomodating and helpful. On his last visit (July 11, 2013) he was greeted by Ariah Updike, the Front Desk Supervisor. She remembered him from his last visit which is always a nice feeling... making him feel 'at home'. She offered him numerous amenities and information regarding the hotel and surrounding area (restaurants, etc.), going out of her way to ensure his comfort and pleasant stay.
The hotel is always well maintained and the concierge lounge is always available for breakfast and light evening snacks. The staff in the lounge is always pleasant and greets him warmly.

This is hotel that we would stay in for our personal travel to Denver as well.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away frm the railway tracks.

We stayed here in April, 2013. We were a little nervous after reading reviews that talked about the anti-abortion demonstrations keeping people awake all night. We had no troubles at all. The shuttle from the airport was quick and comfortable. The hotel is lovely inside. The desk people were friendly and the room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, too. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and the food was pretty good. We arrived very late and night and left right after breakfast, so we didn't use any of the amenities, but overall, it is a good, 4 star hotel and we had no difficulties with noise/demonstrators, etc. Would stay again.

I spent several days there while traveling alone. The interior of the hotel is an open design all the way to the 10th floor and so quite a sense of spaciousness is provided. Plus the hotel interior immediately presents as very clean. The staff was quite accommodating and provided me with a very nice room on the 10th floor. The hotel is in the vicinity of a number of restaurants and large box stores which comes in handy for both meals and supplies.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, with fluffy pillows. The pillows might be a bit too fluffy for those who need significant support from their pillows. The one drawback of being on the 10th floor, for me, is that their 4 elevators are open glass. I loved the view from my room, but the price was my fear of heights kicking in at about the 5th floor. Unfortunately, the stairways seem to be designed only for the regular passage of staff and for temporary storage. So, I gutted out the elevator rides for the great room with the great view.

Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay.

Room Tip: The 10th floor and above are maintained for platinum card guests and thus are more quiet, along with...

While on a transit stop in Denver my connecting flight on United Airlines was cancelled (apparently due to pilot issues) and I was rebooked on a 6am flight (OUCH). United gave me a hotel voucher and meal vouchers for the Renaissance Hotel. After a 20min drive the hotel driver welcomed me to the hotel.

Check-in was very quick and easy and the young lady who checked me in was very excited to see a New Zealand drivers licence being used as ID (first time she had seen one apparently). I was given a room near the top of the hotel with an AMAZING VIEW both looking back down into the hotel foyer and looking towards Denver CBD.

As my flight was cancelled I needed to change a hotel and car rental booking. I couldn't change my other hotel booking online using the free wifi in the foyer (wifi in rooms had charges) so a very nice check-in agent used his personal cellphone to contact the hotel in Miami.

As I had meal vouchers I used the hotel restaurant. Seating was quick and I was quickly being served drinks and bread as a starter. My meal was amazing and very filling - in fact I struggled to finish it but managed to.

As I had a 6am flight the hotels first airport run is at 4.30am and the van ride was very quick and we got to the airport with plenty of time.

Staff were very helpful, nice and kind especially the two check-in agents. Just wish I remembered their names as they are an excellent asset to the hotel. Hotel is within an easy 10min walk to Wal-Mart and several other shops/restaurants. I would happily stay at this hotel again next time I need a hotel in Denver

While we certainly don’t wish flight cancellations on any of our guests, we are happy that it allowed us the opportunity to welcome you for an impromptu overnight stay. It is wonderful to read that you enjoyed a swift check-in, a delicious meal at Vivace! Ristorante and easy shuttle ride back to the airport. We’re so glad our location proved convenient while our staff was available to assist in helping you update travel arrangements. Thank you for your wonderful review, we truly hope to welcome you back to the Renaissance Denver Hotel in the future.

We stayed one night. The hotel charges $10 dollars for parking or you have a choice of their complementary parking out in back of the hotel where the desk attendant told us to park there at our own risk.we were also told by another employee that the building where you have complementary parking had been broken in to 5 or 6 times in the last couple of months. The room had an inch of dust on the desk and TV stand. They wanted to charge $9.95 a night for internet. The hot tub inside was broken and marked out of order and the hot tub out side was nasty with brown scum on the bottom. All in all i would not recommend staying here.We stayed at a Fairfield inn which i was told later was the lowest on the Marriott chain and it was the nicest hotel i have ever stayed at.Clean ,neat, and internet and parking were free and it was also about $50 cheaper.

We couldn’t be more disappointed by your comments and hope you’ll accept our apologies for the issues you experienced during your stay. We deeply regret that aspects of your stay were amiss and appreciate that you took the time to share your feedback. Our housekeeping staff has been alerted to your comments and will make certain our rooms are at their best. We would like to clarify that we offer secure valet and self-parking for the convenience of our guests at fees that are comparable to those in the area. While guests are welcome to find off-street parking if they wish, we often do share with guests that it is at their own risk. The Hotel was most accommodating. The usual nice bed, van rides were nice. But everyone was friendly and were smiling. They have the best breakfast!! Great food. I remember most walking down to breakfast and Von would warmly welcome you with a smile asking how you are doing. Fabiola, who served with a GREAT smile. I always had a full cup of coffee and water. She stopped by every so often to see if I needed anything. Robert would also go above and beyond to be sure you had a great breakfast. This is how to start your day!!! GREAT service. Lastly, at night, the servers in the bar/restaraunt area were friendly making the area very welcoming and homey. Thanks to everyone at the Renaissance Denver Hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms on the South Side are quieter but faces the pool so if there are kids out there they can be he...

We went to this hotel for my 10 year old son's birthday trip. We stayed for 3 nights and loved the breakfast that was included in our package. If you book it book it from the marriott website. MUCH cheaper than expedia or travelocity. Loved the service and pools as well.

Room Tip: Get an upper room with a balconey.
