Description: The Berkshire, located in Denver, CO on Stapleton's main drag, serves fresh and inventive dishes centered around pork and bacon. In a location heavily populated with chains, this family-owned restaurant serves unique meals from scratch in a casual and trendy environment. Some popular meals include our bacon plate and pork tenderloin which is served with house made bacon jam and roasted cauliflower. While the dishes represent American cuisine-heavy on the pig-The Berkshire does serve lighter fare as well as vegetarian dishes. In addition to serving up heaping portions of pig, we also take pride in our creative cocktails. We have a fully stocked bar and draft beers, insuring you will find the perfect drink to accompany your porky dish. The Berkshire hosts weekly drink specials and happy hours, giving you a reason to celebrate any day of the week! The Berkshire is a great place for parties and corporate events. Our "Pig Pen" is a full private dining room that seats up to 40 guests in a warm and inviting atmosphere. "The Pigs Stye", a semi-private area, is also available for booking and seats up to 18 guests, or has standing room for 25 guests. Whether you are hosting an event, or just wanting to celebrate with a group of friends because it's Wednesday and you're craving bacon, stop by The Berkshire and let us show you just how much we love pig!

Like typical trendy eateries, this place is annoyingly noisy. Other than that, it was a good experience overall. The menu is pork-centric. We had the sliders appetizer, which were excellent if not overpriced. For entrees we had the pork tenderloin and a burger. The quality of the meat is top notch, flavorful, and they really pile on the flavors, which works most of the time. However, the pork tenderloin had too many competing flavors that overpowered the meat. The burger was outstanding. The service was friendly and attentive. The bill for one appetizer, two entrees, and one soft drink was $60 including tax. There's a bar and the drinks we had were weak and the pours were light on the wine too.

Nicely portioned (not too big) entrees that are usually very good, and nicely presented. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a lot of fun speciality drinks. A great place for a casual, but nice dinner.

The Berkshire restaurant in the Stapleton area of Denver is a delight, especially if you like pork. Where else would you find pork tenderloin with bacon jam and potato confit cooked in bacon fat? Okay, so it's not on Weight Watchers' list, but it's mighty good. For starters, try an order of fried pickles. These seem to be popular all over Denver and were delicious here. We were there on a crisp August night and thought later we should have eaten outdoors under the gas lights.

As a vegetarian who only occasionally eats seafood, I admit I would not normally choose a restaurant with a pig shaped sign. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised. It was in trendy little area with quite a few choices, but it was sit - down and seemed to have a nice atmosphere so we went in. There was a 20 minute wait or no wait at the bar. we sat at the bar. we went for brunch Saturday morning (Girls only) after a concert and a late night. We started with a Big Berk Bloody- Served in a "goblet" with Old Bay rim and a small glass of beer in a whiskey glass ( a local IPA) . they offered with the house made Bacon Infused Vodka, Jalapeno-Bacon
Infused Vodka, or Svedka but we took the same bloody with Grey Goose. we asked for extra spicy . It was a tasty bloody Mary but we asked for extra spicy and it had hardly any spice - so if you like spicy REALLY ask for it. the side beer was a fun addition. The menu was so interesting it took us a good 10 minutes to decide what we wanted. My friend settled on cheesy tatertots and sausage gravy topped with sunny side eggs although she took the gravy on the side and had gouda grits. I went for the Lobster Benedict which was made interesting with a bread pudding instead of a muffin. we both liked what we had, and the servings were generous, and we had to take a "to go" box back to my husband. All in all it was a good meal with decent service and decent atmosphere. If you are in that area, I would recommend it . Our Brunch was about $65 including tip for two.

The menu has bacon or pulled pork in almost every dish, soups and seafood included. Great if you like bacon; not so great if you want to avoid. The scallop appetizer was the best. Firecracker shrimp ok, but not fiery enough for me -- no kick. Prices are high, portions modest, but dishes are well-prepared, and service is very good. Wine selection seems above average, with knowledgeable staff pouring.
