Owner description: Formerly the hub of transit in Lower Downtown, this grandiose three-story train station now best serves enthusiasts of railroad nostalgia.

Visited after dinner elsewhere, stopped to grab ice cream and sit and enjoy the renovation.

Not sure how accurate it is to it's heyday, but the main hall is beautiful and festive. It invites you to hang out and enjoy. Being a Saturday night, it was full of people mingling and enjoying the fun vibe in the air.

I hope this doesn't become a cheesy tourist haven like Navy Pier in Chicago, another historic renovation designed to bring people back.

There's been a lot of buzz about this renovation. If you're looking for a bit of railroad nostalgia, this isn't the place.

I don't know how long the furniture will last, but it's a hodge podge of stuffed couches and hard benches. Those are the only places to sit and eat a sandwich.

I'm hoping it's because the businesses are new, but the customer traffic flow is very confusing. Where to stand in line, where to order, where to wait for food are not very clear.

If you're a bus commuter or train rider, expect to pay top dollar for a cup of coffee or a snack. A small coffee $3 and a hamburger $7 fries are extra.

The bus terminal is really nice and a couple notches up from Market Street Station.

We'll see how the place stacks up when the newness wears off.

Denver should be so proud of Union Station! It is spectacular for all... kids running through the water fountains, shoppers looking for the ideal Denver souvenir, and diners looking for perfect outdoor spot to sit and sip coffee or wine. Worth a visit...

This is a hub for not only transportation services but also social activity. Beautiful facility with lots of drink and dining options. Even if not using the train or bus, it is worth the visit for the facility, food/drink and people watching.

This is not Grand Central Station (or even Union Station Kansas City) as far as renovations, but given what they started with (a not terribly large station), the renovation is well done. And the food, drink, bar, and desert selections at several outlets are outstanding. In addition, the middle waiting room (surrounded by several food outlets) is more like an upscale hotel lobby than a train station. Well done. We'll be back.
