Great food and service-extremely attentive. Yes, it's pricey, and the portions aren't huge but that's the trend theses days. It's about the flavors, and sensations in your mouth-like the kampachi with pop rocks. Not something you eat everyday, nor do you need a lot of it. It's the experience, and it's a great one! Creative, beautiful food, with rich flavors. Food to savor. Loved the kangaroo, and the duck fat fries-who wouldn't love that! Miso black cod- always a favorite. The coconut desert was light as a feather and flavorful.
Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our dinner here. Everyone ordered something different and all were satisfied (some claimed it was the best meal they've ever eaten at a restaurant), although I thought the portion size was small for the price (which was high). The waitress was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The food came quickly and was eaten quickly. It really was tasty, but I was still hungry but couldn't afford another item from their menu ;)

Went here on a recent trip to Denver and was blown away by the quality of the food, relatively low prices and fantastic service. Ended up coming back a couple more times.

Fell in love with the kobe beef sliders, kampachi and pork belly!

My wife and I went to Tag the other night and tried the 4 course Omakase (tasting menu). The restaurant suggests 24 hour notice for Omakase. What a cool experience! First, we sat at the chef's table - a counter that looks into the kitchen. The 4 courses were each personally crafted by a different chef. None of the courses are from the actual menu and were called experiments on our personalized menus. We got to vote for our favorite - evidently the winner gets a free beer after closing. Each chef personally presented the course and described the dish. It really felt like we were judges on Top Chef!

Everyone on staff was extremely friendly - we both felt like VIPs. And don't forget to try the Sticky Toffee cake!

TAG is truly a unique and outstanding dining experience in Denver. Especially if you are an adventurous diner. My wife and I had the opportunity to sit at the chef's table. Chef's table is for parties of 4 or less, since there are only 4 seats ( 2 seats on each side of the service area) at the counter where the chef's work their magic. Carmelized butterfish, rare sared kangaroo, An awesome lobster appetizer, amazing cocktails, a sticky toffee cake to die for. The menu is diverse and the evening specials change often. The chef's are friendly, extremely knowledgable and skilled. I don't think the portions are small, they are not HUGE, but perfect sized. One of the best dining experiences I have ever had.
