“One of the best in the country”
Reviewed 29 July 2012

The gardens are varied from aquatic to desert and from miniscule to huge. There are explanations that enhance the visit. The shop has books, plants, seeds and grdeners tools as well as related gifts.

“A beautiful space!”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

The Denver Botanic Gardens is the perfect place to wander, appreciate, and feel. They have done a marvelous job of creating spaces that allow you to sit and breathe, even paint! So much to see and learn. The bamboo sculptures add a lovely organic punctuation among all the greenery. A must for nature lovers!

“A Beautiful Haven with all facilities”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

We visited on our last day as we returned to UK from 3 weeks of continuous touring in the US; wife carrying an Achilles injury and me exhausted from driving and wheel chair pushing.
Suddenly, free car parking, a great welcome, a courtesy wheel chair, a map and what seemed endless gardens with almost perfect disabled access.
Truly wonderful outdoor displays tended by volunteers, delightful shaded areas (in 95F temperatures), enclosed tropical displays and enthralling ware features.
A truly great 3 hour visit

“Beautiful!”

Twists and turns of beautiful paths to follow...plan to spend a while walking in the serene surroundings. We went on free day so it was well worth it!

“A stunning place!”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

We loved the bamboo sculptures, the varied gardens, the layout and the design. We learned about the birds and the bees, and uses of herbs. Even the gift shop is worthy of browsing. We made a purchase or two.
