“Not Much to See......”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014

We visited in May and I think it was a bit early in the season....plus, there was a lot of construction going on. Many of the greenhouses were off-limits and you could view them only from the outside. We paid $9.50 (senior rate) to get in but were done in about a half-hour.....On the other hand, the children's area looked like a very cool place for families with small children to explore. Gift shop was extremely over-priced...

“Nice change of pace but beware of construction work”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

Was nice to visit the gardens coming from downtown Denver.

Very peaceful with varied gardens and flowers.

Easily spend 2 hours here with the bus from downtown taking about 30 mins.

Beware of construction work however as I guess it will still be occurring, disappointed no discount was given for such a unsightly and noisy disturbance.

“Beautiful and varied garden features plus so much more”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2014

There is something for everyone. The inside store, inside theater area, tropical plant area are outstanding as well as the ever changing display of plantings, pools, areas to sit and read or just relax. Concerts are given throughout the summer and it just should be on everyones Bucket List!

“Mid-May Too Early in Year & Lots of Construction!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

Glad it was a free day, as they were having their plant sale, Would have been disappointed had we had to pay. Plant sale made it more interesting, but conservatory was closed (because of plant sale?). Lots of construction going on that blocked off areas, making it somewhat difficult to navigate. Went in Mid-May so some plants were not up yet. Disappointing. Will try again when construction is completed & more is planted or popping up. June or July?

“Very fine gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

Liked the great variety of spring gardens in bloom. Indoor gardens were also a treat. Denver Botanic Gardens are ever expanding... Much larger than it was just a few years ago. If you like walking in gardens, this is a gem
