“Fun and different! ”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

We went to Canvas and Cocktails for a bachelorette party and had a pretty big group of 13 people but they were so accommodating in seating us all together. Immediately when we walked in we were greeted by our instructor, Dre, who was super friendly and upbeat and checked us in. The vibe is so relaxed and welcoming. You don't have to be an artist to have a great time. Although most of our group didn't love the painting design we did, I still had a blast and they offer so many other designs on different nights so there are definitely more options! Dre was great and made the night super fun. It was such a fun and different way to spend a Friday night. The drinks are super reasonable and they give 20% off any other store purchase if you take the class which is a great deal with the clothing and accessories are really cute too.

“Great Concept-must do at least once”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

I came to Denver for business and my son (he is 24) joined me for a few days. I was looking for a variety of ways to pass our time that were also a bit out of the ordinary. We had a really entertaining, fun time at Canvas and Cocktails. Rather than merely having a bottle of wine and conversation, we enjoyed a bottle while painting. Why not? We hardly generated master pieces, but it was good value for money. You have a lively instructor who sets you to work while you listen to good music. You can check out everyone else's progress and compare to your own work. The final product was not a concern, as it was more about doing something totally different with an evening. This would also be a great option if you are visiting Denver on your own - great solo activity.

“Fun. Upbeat and instruction based night”
Reviewed 29 May 2014 via mobile

CNC, is amazing 2 hour event that makes you feel like a true artist.

You begin you night with check in. Find your seat. Get you paint.

They give step by step instructions, allowing time between each step to jam out to the music and paint away. Adult friendly. They serve drinks for 3$ ish.

They also do open painting during the weekday (not instructioned) and Sundays (step by step nstructed) that are family friendly.

“Future Masterpiece! Ok probably not...”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

Creative way to spend two hours. I have zero painting experience, but the instructor broke the process down into easy to follow steps, while still encouraging us to embellish with our own brand of creativity! No two paintings look identical and mine did not look exactly like the example, but it didn't matter because I loved the experience.
Lively music, humorous instructor and great drinks! Would definitely do this again!
Metered street parking at the Cherry Creek location (free on Sunday!). Southglenn has a parking lot, so if parallel parking is as stressful for you as it is for me visit the Southglenn location!
