This was a very pleasant stay for my husband and I. We stayed 2 nights in a king suite this past weekend to attend the Denver Broncos game. Check-in was a breeze, the room was beautiful and sparkling clean. The sheets were pristine, smelled fresh and complimented the very comfortable bed quite well.

It was a bit of a long drive to downtown, but this awesome gem of a hotel more than made up for it. A mile or so west on I-70, there is the large Northfield and Stapleton commercial areas with several shopping centers and restaurants. Along the road of the hotel, there is a Starbucks, McDonalds, Del Taco, Subway, and 7-11. I liked the quiet atmosphere, the calm area, and the easy access to 1-70.

The only parts of our stay that could have been better were to have more variety in the continental breakfast. I wish there were some fresh fruit included, and an additional waffle maker, as there was a long line to make waffles and it took a while. You can also hear hallway noise quite loudly in your room. Laying in our bed, we could hear the conversation of the people in the hallway and room service in the room across the hall. Noise is just part of hotel living I guess, I've never stayed in a room where you couldn't hear any noise. We didn't bring our swimsuits, but the pool seemed clean and decent.

Overall, this is a great place for the value and we WILL be going back! :)

We traveled to Denver to visit relatives over Christmas. The LaQuinta Gateway was a great choice, Located at I-70 and Peoria on the NE of Denver, we were located mid point between the airport and downtown. Our relatives lived nearby, so the location was ideal to visit them, pick up people at the airport, and see downtown Denver. The hotel has a great front desk staff, an indoor pool, exercise room, is pet friendly and has free parking. There are restaurants nearby and an industrial area on the streets behind the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel over Thanksgiving for one night on our way to Breckenridge. I haven't stayed at a La Quinta in years and I was presently surprised. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and the price was very reasonable for the space and quality of room. The hotel is located close to I-70 and is convenient to several restaurants in the area. The room included a small refrigerator, microwave and sink area. The bathroom was large and unique in that it had an entrance from the bedroom and from the living room area. The fitness center was small and included a bike, a treadmill, an elliptical and a small universal weight machine. It wasn't fancy, but it met my needs. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this La Quinta 2 times. It's a great hotel to stay at with a very affordable price. The rooms are very clean, comfortable beds, great customer service, and pet friendly. Not to far from the city and very close to the airport.

I have stayed at La Quinta's for years and always search them out first. This is the first one that I was slightly disappointed in. I've read some of the other reviews and am wondering if maybe some of the rooms or floors have not been updated?????

We stayed at this particular La Quinta as it was convenient for us to catch the bus for the Bronco game 10/28/12. Upon checking in, we were told of course about the complimentary breakfast being available the next morning until 10AM (we found out the next morning at 9:30 when we went down, that it was only until 9AM. I didn't know the weekdays were differnt times than the weekends, but then again, the girl at the counter should have been more knowledgeable in informing us as well.

The room was extremely dark and dingy looking. The vanity in the bathroom looked like a hammer had been taken to it with all the chips and dents in it. There were stains on the carpeting and on the bed clothing.

We heard what sounded like water running down inside the walls all night. The walls at this place were extremely thin and we had hard time getting to sleep. When we finally did get to sleep, we were woken very early in the morning to what sounded like a jackhammer in the room above us. We determined this was a vacuum cleaner.

Just not up to par LaQuinta. I never knew you had places like this that were so poorly maintained.

Like I said, maybe we were on a floor that had been updated yet?

Room Tip: Make sure you have an "Updated" room and clarify any information told to you at the front...

this LaQuinta is a modern, up-dated hotel that is very close to both I70 and the CU Anshutz Hospital. Love that they take dogs. A discount was provided if you were there to get a procedure at the hospital.
