We experienced Mt. Evans with Scenic Mountain Tours. The guide was knowledgable and entertaining. The trip was amazing. Be prepared for no guard rails and for some seriously tight turns and switchbacks. Also, wear your "woollies" because it is cold and windy. we were there the first week in July. there was still snow on the mountains! It was 88 in Denver and 36 with a wind chill of 4 at the top. But it is worth the trip.

This is a great drive with many unobstructed views. The price was also great, $10 for a three day pass. More rustic and less crowded than Pikes Peak. I passed a total of 15 cars going up and coming back down the mountain on a Tuesday night. Numerous places to stop and take pictures along the way. Observed mountain goats and marmots along the way. Great waterfall just outside the park. I would recommend this drive to anyone.

Oh was told this was the highest paved road in the USA. I do belive. The drive is beautiful, for waterfalls, to snow and watching people crave there names in it. To beautiful lake and old trees at MT Goliath and blue butterflys and wilflowers. A little piece of heaven on earth. Be careful on the road it's narrow. If you don't like heights not reccomended. We will go again. Cost 10:oo dollars per car. It's worth it!

This is a beautiful drive up to the top of Mt Evans with an amazing view around every corner. In July there were lots of wildflowers, especially at the Mt Goliath visitor center area. At the top, we saw a family of mountain goats and also saw a big marmot on the way. It started snowing while we were on top which made our visit quite exciting. Be aware there is a sheer dropoff on one side of the road and no guard rails most of the way.
