Warning: If you prefer heavily hopped beers, this is not the place for you. But if you appreciate traditional old-world style beers based in hundreds if years of time-tested tradition, you'll love it. All their beers are outstanding.

Went with some beer lovers and had the delicious Weißbier. Funky wood tables, a bar, and a small area for local musicians makes this a promising addition to the downtown Denver, lower Highlands neighborhood. There's no food, but a yummy food truck was there for some light taco fare. Definitely well worth a visit, especially if you're interested in checking out every single brewery in Colorado.

Have dropped by a couple of times with friends and family. Decent selection on German style beer. Limited outside seating when it's busy. No food on site but last both time I was there they had food vendors just outside their fenced area. Last time was a wood fired piza oven cart. Good place to spend a little time, taste a few different beers and enjoy the outdoors when the weather permits.

This is a gem among the many small brew-on-site tap rooms in Denver. The place is nice enough for a business-related talk yet casual enough to feel at home just hanging out with good friends and good beer. The staff is engaging and knowledgeable. The parking is a little tough at times, and no pub food. But the taco truck that was there on my last visit had outstanding food. I've enjoyed the Alt when it has been available but my favorite beer in their lineup is the Dunkel. Prost is a bit out of the way for me but well worth the drive. Highly recommended for local beer lovers or a destination to entertain your out of town guests looking for something a bit more micro than the big craft brewer/restaurants downtown. Places like these are the best chance to experience true artisan beer.

Prost brewing is very similar to many local brewpubs in the area in that it has the brewery in the back with a bar and seating out front. Large wooden tables will accomodate a lot of folks. No food onsite except chips and pretzels, but they do have a food truck at scheduled times. They specialize in traditional german beers - hefeweizen, dunkel, altbier, etc. They have won quite a few awards and the beer is good. The prices are typical and fair. The staff very friendly. Facilities for parties or groups. They were out of their dunkel when we went - should have more in few weeks. Good sized parking behind building.
