“Interesting concept and great food”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

We visited this during a conference and i had not been in several years and it did not disappoint me. The lamb was excellent and we tried 7 different sauces. We were not keen on the house recommendations but the second set made us very happy. great atmosphere and since we went mid week not busy. the last time i was there it was packed and service was a bit "hurried" not this time. Waitstaff had plenty of time to help with sauces, wine and meal selection.

“Fun, innovative, overwhelming sauce choices!”
Reviewed 18 November 2013

I'm grateful for recommendations from the staff and printed on the menu because the choices were so numerous! Everything we had was delicious (albeit small)- sauces, meats, drinks, appetizers. The atmosphere was upbeat and hip and the prices are reasonable in comparison to similar quality restaurants.
Make reservations as this place is typically packed. Good solid choice while dining downtown.

“Very, very good!”
Reviewed 15 November 2013

Excellent drinks and appetizers. Of course excellent dipping sauces and service, no question was too much. I actually like the appetizers better than our entree. Every single one (even the pork belly) was great.

“The Critic”
Reviewed 6 November 2013 via mobile

Once again, I'm probably the most critical person in the world when it comes to restaurants. However, the welcome from Matt with the sweater vest set the stage for a perfect meal.

We were dining before the Nuggets game and we only had two hours to dine and then dash. They asked us if we were going to the game and were we under a deadline. A nice touch.

We decided to concentrate on the wine and let the food fall as it may. After we ordered a delicious and moderately priced Malbec, we told the waiter to pair it anyway he wanted for an appetizer and a main course. He and the chef did a great job. Try the duck with any sauce, but the curry is a must!

We were thoroughly satisfied and arrived at the game just at tip off. I will not miss the place on my next visit.

“A delightful surprise”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

Went to this restaurant with friends and family, and was delightfully surprised. I remembered downtown Denver as being either sports bar affordable or overly priced elegant, and Vesta's was neither of these. The ambiance was chic, but simple. The dishes were each delectable, from the duck to the venison to the appetizers, even to the garlic oil served with the bread. The cocktails were wonderful and suggested by the bartender, as I was indecisive on what I wanted to try, the bartender offered to make me something special, and it was. The service was all-round fantastic, from the waiters, to the assistants, even the manager stopped by the table to check on us. Such a fantastic dining experience that I returned with a party of 10 a couple of weeks later and they outdid themselves once again.
