“The best family run, hole in the wall, mexican restaurant in town.”
Reviewed 23 March 2013

Always on my list when in Denver for consistently great Huevos Rancheros. Excellent value and have been going there for a decade. Frozen in time atmosphere, much like an old, favorite pair of slippers.

Everything is fresh and made right there, with fresh chips and salsa on the table before you sit down, it seems. Hot tortillas on the side come with your Huevos.

Friendly folks and prompt service. A good family spot.

About 10 tables inside, with 6 or so outside for those nice days. Beer served.

“Tasty and reasonable!”
Reviewed 12 October 2012

Coming from the heart of Mexican food and Tex-Mex (San Antonio) we took a gamble on what seemed to be a nice small place. We got our order to go, and it was very good and tasty! The price was reasonable too, nothing outlandish, just good food at a good price!

“Favorite Mexican in Denver”
Reviewed 28 May 2012

This family owned and operated Uptown gem is not to be missed. La Pasadita is a tiny triangular building that sits in the middle of an intersection and serves amazingly tasty, fresh Mexican food. The Chile rellenos both crispy and soft are the best I've ever had. The shredded beef is amazingly tasty and available in a chimichanga, in tacos, or in burrito. The green chile smothers almost everything, is delicious and has the perfect level of spice. Their Enchilada sauce is incredible so make sure to get some chicken enchiladas when you visit. Wash everything down with delicious (and cheap) margaritas or some Mexican beers. Although the patio is right by one of the busier streets in Denver, sitting there is fun and entertaining on a sunny afternoon. I've been going here for years but went again the other day because I just couldn't stay away.

“Egg batter rellenos”
Reviewed 4 May 2012

Egg batter rellenos here are superb; there is something about egg, chilis, and cheese combined that hits the high flavor notes. And the green chili, somewhat hot, is excellent. I don't like all the menu items, but am hooked on these two. Beef fajitas are good. Prices are low. Seating can be tight at peak times.

“Best tex mex in town”
Reviewed 31 October 2011

Great mexican food at very reasonable prices, and the combinations are reasonably sized so you don't have to do the pig dance.
