A reservation on a Saturday night is necessary for this busy Cherry Creek restaurant. We arrived promptly at Cucina Colores at 6pm and were seated promptly by the host. Tracy our server, greated us immediately and warmly. I ordered a Cosmo on the rocks, my partner ordered a tea and the goat cheese appetizer. Great way to start a meal. The goat cheese was served warm and bubbly with a tangy marinara sauce. I chose the grilled red snapper chef special of the night. It was really delicious. It was surrounded by a generous portion of mixed vegetables of fingerling potatoes, carrots and snap peas on top of tomato purée. The other entree served was a meatball and sausage dish paired with very fluffy gnocchi in a bolagnaise sauce. Delish! My usual dessert of peach bread pudding swimming in a Carmel sauce was a great finish. The second dessert was a chocolate mousse cake that was constructed on a Oreo cookie crust. Very very nice. The whole anniversary dinner was perfectly served and prepared. Tracy our server was delightful.
