It did not disappoint. My husband had stroganoff ( with a Swiss name) and I had a pear atop a toasted swiss cheese sandwich. It was tasty. We will go there again.

Food tastes delicious but are simple - great option for a quick lunch. Notice that they don't serve alcohol or sodas. I am not a dessert person, but the desserts from this restaurant are not to be missed! Nice convenient parking lot. Bought a cheese fondue mix from their store to make it at home and it was out of this world.

You can't beat Andre's for efficient service and value for money. Although the menu is small, basically a choice of usually two lunch meals the food is prepared fresh everyday (and the menu different everyday) and included in the cost of lunch you also can get a hot beverage or cold drink and a freshly baked pastry for a little over $12 per person. Service here is very quick and it is very obvious that there are people who have been dining at Andre's frequently, for a very long time. The bakery section at the front of the restaurant also had lovely fresh breads, chocolates, marzipans and cakes that you can also purchase and takeaway. For great value and very tasty food you must try Andre's!

We arrived earlier than our other friends for a fun get away. We ended up with only five out of the original eight that I thought would be there (3 short for various reasons). The tall, blond and tattooed waitress reseated us, placing us in front of the kitchen door. They literally left only 18 inches for other waitstaff to get out of the 3 foot door opening as the small table was placed in the doorway. The staff had to go through one at a time, sideways to get through. The table they moved us from was never used the entire time we were there. The restaurant was not busy and had many empty tables during our entire lunch. The menu only offers 2 options for your meal. That day it was ham and cheese croissant or french bread with cheese melted on top. The spinach that came with it was runny and flavorless. The desserts were good, but why put up with such terrible service when any bakery can make pastries? The seats were also very stiff and uncomfortable.
