Viand is a great improvement - the food is creative, delicious, and reasonably priced. The location makes it fantastic for a pre-theater dinner. My son and I shared a large steak with full-size sides of broccoli (steamed to perfection), a large baked potato (with lots of yummy add-ins), and sauteed wild mushrooms. Everything was cooked and seasoned well. There were other, more complex and sophisticated dishes - which looked good at the table next to us - but we were in the mood for simple and delicious - and Viand satisfied that extremely well. The service was attentive. The atmosphere is gracious and spacious - and not a noisy scene. I can't wait to go back.

Our salad greens were very wilted and even had brown edges. The strawberries for dessert were also less than fresh. I love making and eating fondue, but I won't be returning here.

We decided to try La Fondue during Restaurant Week, as this is an opportunity to try new places at a discount. We had heard good things about this restaurant, so were looking forward to our dinner.
I would like to preface my review by saying that we had excellent service, and Ted took good care of us during our visit.
The food, however, had much to be desired. The appetizer course was good, with melted cheeses and wine. There was an insufficient amount of accompaniments to eat with the fondue, which left us with lots of cheese and nothing to dip into it with.
The entree selection seemed to include lesser cuts of meat; thereby ending-up tough after cooking.
The cooking option we selected was called "Spiced Wine", although the wine was not apparent and the broth was quite bland. As a result, our cooked selections were without flavor.
It is unlikely we will return, particularly considering the cost during regular service.

Great atmosphere. Terrific for a date. Loved the lobster fondue. Service is normally very good, but my last time it was a bit off. They served us another tables meal, but they made it right.

Overall the atmosphere and quality of food at La Fondue is great. It is a nice place for a couple of family to meet with a very nice wine selection available and a wide range of meats to cook. They have an exotic meat selection including elk and deer that is very good.

The service was okay but not outstanding. There were times were we were sitting with empty glasses for 10-15 minutes which isn't great. When we did get service however it was very professional.

Like other fondue places, this one is a little on the expensive side but nothing outrageous.

Thank Clinton F
