“Hard to get too”

Daniels and Fisher Tower
Reviewed 11 June 2014

This Tower only allows visitors on the weekend and only if they don't have something else going on because they rent out this entire tower out to various companies. They also host parties. There is a fee to see ....whatever it is you get to see. We hopped on the elevator by accident thinking we would just take it to the top. Everyone working in the tower knows that visitors aren't allowed in the elevator...beware.

The 16th Street Mall may be pleasant in good weather.

But without this structure, where would there be any architectural merit to the place? (There would be a bit - but far below "par for the course" for a major downtown street in a city this size. That is, without the D&F Tower, a "double bogey" for the mall, architecturally.)

This is the Tower on 16th St. mall- it was part of a larger building that was torn down. It is an historic landmark in Denver that was built in 1912.

If you're on the 16th Street Mall, definitely check out the D&F Tower. It was modeled after St. Mark's Campanile in Venice, and is one of my favorite buildings in Denver. Unfortunately you can't go up to the top, but be sure to check out the lobby and consider taking in a show at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret in the basement.

fun to visit and one of the few landmarks in denver still standing, walk inside and look around, the show area downstairs is a fun place for a night out
