“Excellent hotel in Downtown Denver”
Reviewed 6 July 2011

I booked this hotel through Priceline's name your price service and was very pleased with the property. For starters this hotel was conveniently located in Downtown Denver near the 16th Street Mall and was also walking distance to Coors Field. The studio suite I had was very nice with a sofa, desk/chair, and kitchen area. I really liked the kitchen area with full size fridge, cook top, sink, and microwave. Near my room was a nice work-out room and outdoor spa. The spa was very relaxing after a long day. This hotel offered a great hot breakfast with everything from homemade waffles to fruit and much more. Parking in this hotel is offered for $20 a day the garage just above the lobby, but for some reason I was never charged for this even though I used it. Only problem I had with the hotel was not being able to connect to the wireless internet, as I did not have an access code, but even that was a big deal. In conclusion I will look at booking this hotel even if it is not at the discounted price offered through Priceline.

Stayed on the 11th floor for 6 nights while attending a conference. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, desk and sofa were perfect for working (wireless was a little spotty, so I used the ethernet cable instead).

I enjoyed the full kitchen with a full sized fridge, and the complementary breakfast was more than adequate. I also appreciated the on-site coin laundry services. Did NOT use parking, gym, hot tub or room service, so I can't comment on those.

Location was good - only 1 block off 16th street mall. As a woman traveling alone, I value security. I did not feel unsafe walking in the neighborhood at night, and the security system required a room key to take the elevator to any guest floors, which was cool.

I had the pleasure of staying here while attending the American College of Sports Medicine Conference from May 31st to June 4th. Upon arrival I was greeted by Markiza and Jill at the front desk, two of the most friendly employees I have ever encountered! It's nice to start your stay with such a warm welcome. 16th street is just around the corner and the convention center is about a 10 minute walk or so. The breakfast is great as is the happy hour (Monday thru Thursday). The "snacks" served at happy hour were more than enough to make a meal for me and helped save on dinner costs. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, although the room seemed a little smaller than some other Residence Inns where I have stayed in the past. I did not use the jacuzzi or fitness center so I can't comment on those. If you're staying here and walking to the convention center you might want to cut across 16th street and then turn right on California instead of walking down Champa Street. The neighborhood on California is a little nicer. All in all it was a great stay and the free breakfast and happy hour really add up to an excellent value. Thanks again to Jill and Markiza for being so hospitable!

We thoroughly enjoyed an evening with the Rockies at Coors Field and the Residence Inn. The hotel is perfect for its location to downtown events. Total professionalism throughout the facility. The room was spotless and very quiet. The breakfast is outstanding. We have stayed here a few times and the Breakfast Host is wonderful. He is always busy attending to guests' requests and clearing tables. He has a perfect personality for children, business professionals, and those of us who are seniors. The Front Desk staff couldn't be better. Thank you, Residence Inn!

Nice property, this is your typical Residence Inn. What was NOT typical was Cameron at the front desk. He made our stay really memorable. Superb service, kindness, and great sense of humor. He spent an inordinate amount of time helping us plan our day, mapping out our drive, and giving us tourism hints. Kudos to Cameron!
The hotel is right downtown, just a block or two from the 16th street mall. It's a great location. Breakfast was good, but they no longer offer hard-boiled eggs (my favorite). No big deal, we walked across the street to the 7-11 and bought them there. We stayed for 8 nights so breakfast got a little repetitive. Parking cost us $20 per day, but you could come and go as often as you please.
Overall, a very good stay, clean, comfortable, well-situated and it met all of our expectations.

We stayed at the Residence Inn City Center in Denver in February 2012 for a short weekend city break to Denver. Flights were cheap, so we decided to check out the city with another couple. We booked a two-bedroom suite. Overall, it was very nice. Two decent size bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a comforatable living/dining area. The hotel feels relatively new and was very clean.

PROS:
- Good location, close to LoDo.
- Coffee shop onsite (no need to go outside in the cold)
- Free breakfast
- Nice rooms

CONS:
- No free parking

We loved our stay at this hotel-- the location is excellent and is within walking distance to LODO, Coors Field, 16th Street Mall, etc. The room was spacious, clean and the staff was welcoming. I would definitely recommend it for the reasonable price. We have stayed in many hotels in downtown Denver and this is one of our favorites.
