We asked for a quiet room & the helpful receptionist gave us one on the top floor. It was quiet. Room was comfortable & very well equipped, in fact there was a fully equipped kitchen in the room (not just a microwave & fridge) so you could cook your own meals if you wanted to. Furthermore, we could get Democracy Now on the TV, which was nice. An unexpected bonus was "Happy Hour" from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm which meant we could get free alcoholic beverages & food. The buffet breakfast was a bit average though. Yes, this hotel is OK, well situated near 16th Street, we felt relaxed here and we would stay here again.

I stayed here for four nights, and had a wonderful stay. The property was very well maintained, rooms were nice, and location was outstanding. I was within walking distance to the 16th Street Mall area (many restaurants, bars, entertaInment). The hotel was relaxed and not pretentious. The lobby and common areas were clean and modern. The hotel provides a decent breakfast each morning included in the stay. The parking is convenient and the hotel felt very safe, with a key card being required in elevator to allow access the guest room floors and parking floors. My only concern, was the very slow internet connection, although it was free, so I can't complain much. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We got into Denver early and called the hotel to ask for an early check in, we were in our room at 10am and at the 16th mall by 10:15. Very clean and wonderful rooms with a full size but small kitchen, living room and bedroom. Very nice for us. Happy hour Monday thru Thursday and free breakfast everyday. Good but not great. No green chili sauce so we ate out all but one morning. Good security. You need your hotel key to run the elevator. Excellent personel at the front desk. Close to the 16th street mall where you can walk or ride the free bus to Coors field or LoDo and to almost the Capital building. Very reasonable rates for a true downtown hotel. Next trip we're staying here again.

Room Tip: Pets were allowed in the lobby not sure about the rest of the hotel. Denver is very dog friendly.

Great hotel, good location, friendly staff and hot, free breakfast.

Room Tip: Bring or buy your own coffee. The room coffee is bad and the breakfast coffee isn't much better.

Residence Inn, by Marriott, Denver City Center, was absolutely one of the best hotels (or Residence Inns) we've ever stayed in, and we have traveled frequently. The hotel is sparkling clean, and well located to downtown attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The Front Desk Staff, among them Mary, Laura, and John, each were very efficient, helpful and pleasant. Staffers were especially courteous to my husband, who had sprained his knee a week before our Denver trip. Sergio, was an excellent attendant at Breakfast and Evening Snack buffets. Food and variety were excellent, and included in our suite rate. For example, one night we had wonderful juicy big slider-burgers, with or w/o guacamole, plus accompanying sides. Hotel itself was sparkling clean, had comfortabl beds, and a great lobby for people watching. We travel to Denver periodically for pleasure, and plan to stay at this hotel from now on. In my opinion, this Residence Inn should be rated at 4+ stars.

Room Tip: My request for a high floor, away from elevators and ice machines, resulted in a quiet suite, with a...

This hotel is located 1 block from the 16th street mall right in about the center of the mall. There is a free bus that takes you up and down the street to all of the shops and restaurants, which I recommend because if you walk the Planned Parenthood people will harrass you on the street. The hotel is recently remodeled, and they have a decent happy hour four times a week with complimentary wine and beer and a light dinner. Decent fitness center. Parking was kind of pricey, but if you are just going to be in the downtown area, you don't really need a car. The only negative thing I have to say about it is, even though it is only one block from the touristy area, the block in between has some shady characters hanging out on it, so I was kind of uncomfortable walking back by myself at night. I would recommend walking down 17th 1 block, then crossing over in front of the Westin to16th street. Free breakfast every morning, free internet, and lots of TV channels (about 70ish).
