We stayed at the Residence Inn City Center for a weekend in October and it was the perfect choice for us for our sports weekend. Broncos and Avalance games back to back! This hotel is in a great location close to the 16th street Mall, Lodo, Larimar Square, restaurants and bars. The staff were great...very helpful. They even provided my husband with ear buds for the gym. The lobby/breakfast area was very large and warm. Breakfast was included and offered many choices...hot and cold. The one bedroom suite was bright, clean and roomy and the bed comfortable although we wished the beds were kings not queens. That would be my only criticism. The wireless in the room worked well! We would definately stay here again. Great value for the price. Our package also included free parking!

We came to Denver to participate in the Rock & Roll Marathon. We often choose the Residence Inn when we travel with our children for the convenience factor, and this one hit the mark again. The rooms were clean and fairly updated, and the lobby was warm and welcoming.
The staff seemed a little green, and could definitely turn up the welcoming factor, but no major issues. The manager was very nice (Ryan?) and helpful.
They could use some improvement with the breakfast buffet. The food service area is TINY, and the walkways are very narrow. It would be helpful if they put the cold items like cereal and muffins on the bar that is outside the food area. It would open up the buffet area and keep these items out-of-reach for smaller children who should be served by an adult anyway. The bar is a bit high to reach for a person in a wheelchair, but since the hotel is ADA- equipped, the staff would be able to assist; there were several on hand. We were sorry they did not have hard-bolied eggs like other Residence Inns, and it would be fantastic to see more gluten-free breakfast options, such as GF toast or cereals. The coffee was good and plentiful as usual. The hotel is proud to be trying to do its part to "go green", so it was disappointing to see the waffle batter set out in individual plastic cups with lids that would be disposed of after one use. They could easily purchase attractive reusable plastic cups that the staff could pre-fill, with a tub for the used ones below- much more environmentally friendly!
All in all, this Residence Inn is in an ideal location. It's easy walk to the 16th Street Mall and many great restaurants and sights.

We stayed here for a night when visiting the Denver and RMNP area. It is a nice, updated hotel right in a great location for walking around town. We were 2 families with 4 kids (in 2 rooms), and it worked out perfectly. We could walk to get food, and it was easy to get to the stadium for a Rockies game. I would stay here again.

Usual hotel was sold out, so came here. Solid accommodations. But staff made it great. Basically - they are eager to help. I had an issue printing in the business center - front desk offered a solution, while director of hospitality - Sergio - said "come on back to my office and use my computer." I later saw Sergio being extremely kind to a 10ish-year-old child at breakfast. Many hotels would have solved my printing issues (though, alas, not all) but this one had staff that made me feel as though they really cared about being helpful.

This is definitely an urban Residence Inn, a high-rise rather than the townhouse complex you find in other areas. The rooms are as always though, with a fully equipped kitchen, work desk, living area, and bedroom. The staff is uniformly helpful and friendly.

While the rooms are comfortable I wouldn't call them luxurious. The bathroom has a shower/toilet area separate from the vanity. Bath amenities include soap, shampoo, and conditioner. With Denver's dry climate you'll want to bring lotion. Based on the trash I found in my room when I checked in, I have to call housekeeping a bit sloppy.

Breakfast is maybe a cut above average, with hot and cold options. I wouldn't say that about the evening dinner reception. The complimentary beer and wine is certainly welcome after a day of work, but the food was simply awful. With the 16th Street Mall just a block away, you'll find options and whatever price point you need. Avoid the free dinner unless you're looking to just fill your stomach with whatever you can find.

The fitness center has an array of cardio equipment, free weights, and weight machines. Internet access is free in the rooms, reliable, and almost fast enough to stream video.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms.

Room Tip: All the rooms are comfortable, roomy and the windows actually open.

We travelled straight from Denver airport to the hotel, which took aout 30mins (about $50 dollars in the taxi) and were very happy with the amount of space in our room. We booked a family suite: my husband and I had a double room whilst our daughters had a twin room, separating us was a large lounge and kitchen/diner. We had 3 TVs and 2 en-suite bathrooms, plus a cooker, microwave etc in the little kitchen. What more do you need? Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good hot/cold buffet choice in the mornings: we really liked the fresh waffles that you made yourself. Friendly staff and a clean, comfy room, very close to all the downtown amenities. We would stay here again.
