Stayed at this hotel for a recent scientific meeting held across the street at the Colorado Convention Center. Great location for downtown Denver. Rooms are comfortable and well cared for. Great pillows! Microwave and refrigerator were available but not used. Free WiFi was nice, but a tad slow at times. Front desk, housekeeping, and bellman services were outstanding. Would stay here again.

We loved the hotel, clean room, comfortable bed. We rented a car while in Denver and the hotel valet parking bordered on the outrageous. Being from Vegas we are spoiled here so paying for parking anywhere is unheard of. We did have in and out privileges though. On the upside the hotel was nice. There was fresh coffee in the lobby in the mornings and fresh cookies in the evening. Always a container of freshly fruit infused water was available as well. Once we found our land legs we realized we were close to all the action at 16th street and made use of that info too. I would tell anyone to stay here if they are looking for a place close to downtown and the 16th street mall as well as the convention center.

Room Tip: Not a place to get a great view of anything.

First stay at this property, but we are Diamond members a few times over, so very familiar with chain. Spent a few nights here this month to attend a conference at the Sheraton, a few blocks away on Court Place. Walk over there was quick and easy in the morning, but unsafe at night. Too dark and there were panhandlers around. Valet parking was sort of a hassle for someone who needed to go in and out a few times during the stay-having to call down, then tip the fellow each time. Self parking would have been a lot easier. Front desk staff seemed pre-occupied, and not very knowledgeable. Had no clue about how to use light rail or where the stop was. I suggest they do as many hotels do--get pre-printed index cards w/info and directions to give to guests who ask about light rail, Convention Center, etc. Room was quiet, had microwave and fridge. View was of Hyatt across the street. Desk was scuffed up, bathroom door was patched and scarred. Clocks in room, busines center, and gym were not set to correct time a few days after "fall back" time change. Monitor on treadmill broken for 3 consecutive mornings I was there. I would have liked to see more security in this downtown location--like requiring key card access to use elevators to rooms. No soda machine on my floor near ice machine (bar downstairs has soda, but pricey) Adjacent restaurant, "Pi," is trendy, hip spot. Breakfast food was fine. Breakfast hostess seemed overwhelmed with her job and # of people. Sort of loud in there for a breakfast place. Had an issue with TV not working in room, and they came up and fixed it very promptly. No big problems w/this property. Just a few small ones they can easily fix. Would certainly stay again, but if I have a conference at the Sheraton, I'd opt to just stay there instead, to avoid having to get a taxi or ride back at night.

Room Tip: Wait for elevators can take awhile in the morning, so a lower level room will allow you to walk down.
