Walked into the room to a wall of odor. I first thought it was smoke, but the lobby reeked too, so I figure the carpet is moldy. The best part was the price when compared with other hotels/motels in Denver, but when compared with what you get for 70-90 per night for a single room, there is no value here. The number on the door wasn't even on the door - it had fallen off and was resting against the inside of the window. I would expect to pay 20 bucks a night for this type of stay.

I booked a 'Super8' largely because of a positive experience staying at The Super8 Sedona. This was the opposite. No lock on the window and no chain for door latch (a ground floor room). A man entered (no idea why) one morning without warning. Hot water was lukewarm on a good day. A light globe in a floor lamp had exposed broken glass, the coffee machine didn't work properly and the carpet was dirty with bits of plaster scattered in one part of the room. The room was big and there was hanging space but no drawers or bench or bedside table. The only table was small and had the TV on it. Also no fridge. The plugs in both th handbasin and bath didn't work. I did mention a few faults but nothing was followed up. On a positive note, the air conditioner did a good job at cooling and the TV was fine.

The room was very comfortable. We had a non locking window which was fixed within the hour. There seemed to be homeless people the would bun cigarettes and bath in the pool. Aside from the neighbouring room's blaring tv the room ed very quiet.
