Great location, very quiet room. As I had no business (this trip) in Denver proper, the proximity to the car rental agencies (that are not on airport property), and to the airport itself was just what I was looking for. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I am a large person (6' 3"/305 lbs) and am picky about mattresses; the mattress here was great - no pressure points during the night and the mattress didn't feel "hollow" like the Embassy in downtown Denver did last week.
Only complaint was the scrambled eggs served during breakfast had an odd, unpleasing taste; the other foods were tasty and plentiful - I ate at 6:45 the first day, 9:45 the second.
If you're looking for fast food or other chain restuarant choices (aside from the TGI Friday's and DiCicco's Italian in the parking lot), head south on Tower Rd for a couple of miles and you'll have a good selection.

Room Tip: When you need to head north on Tower Rd, the best way is to exit the hotel parking lot to the south...

Have stayed since it opened and it has always been super. This time I noticed little things, the door locking system was screwy, bedding, towels and linens are showing their age and the TV didn't work. The breakfast bar had Granola, Granola and Fruit Loops and the grease wasn't drained from the sausage patties. Little things that a weekly traveler notices. The staff was fine and the location is great, but think I will try the new Residence Inn over on the freeway next time in Denver.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for letting us know about your recent experience at the Springhill Suites Denver Airport. We have upgraded our breakfast offerings in the last few months, and are offering some newer items on our buffet such as an oatmeal bar with up to nine different toppings to choose from, sweet breads, deli meats and cheeses, and more fresh fruit such as strawberries and grapes.

Also, we are excited to be in the initial planning stages of a full hotel renovation! While we do still maintain our high standards of guest room comfort (with upgraded iHome alarm clocks, superior mattresses, and bringing in updated linen and terry each month), it will be exciting to see our hotel once it has the 'face lift'! I encourage you to come try us again in the future, it would be our pleasure to welcome you back and turn around any issues that you may have faced on your latest visit!

Warm regards,
The Springhill Suites Denver Airport Team

Interesting Hotel to say the least. We stayed 2 nights and were a bit disappointed. The bartender showed up late and then left early - we expected bar hours of 5 - 11 as advertised. The breakfast area was out of eggs, syrup, fruit and milk for both days of our stay. When we tried to order food from the bar we were told that most of the food they have never stocked and what they can sell is old and we would be better off going to Ruby Tuesday's. We tried the pool only to discover that the pool area did not have towels and either did the front desk that night - they directed us to go up and use our room towels.

Great location and facility. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. Wish they had an old fashioned radio-not everyone uses an iPod/iPhone for music! Like the idea of an airport shuttle if you want to use the service.

As a longtime fan of Marriott, I can say that this hotel met my expectations. The lobby was bright and clean, the service was (mostly) quite friendly, and the rooms were clean, well stocked, and comfortable.

We dropped off our rental car after checking in, then used the airport shuttle from the airport, then back to the airport the next morning. No problems!

There are SO many hotels in this area that they even look alike. This one is different in that the staff truly is willing to go above and beyond. Terry at the front desk is unflappable even with a forgetful guest. The rooms are the usual Springhill fare and as is the entire property, very clean and maintained.

There's even a bar with a light menu and if that's not enough there are two restaurants at the end of the parking lot.

Just a really decent experience.

Room Tip: All seem to be quiet

SpringHill DIA

Excellent DIA Tower Road property

Quick airport shuttle! Easy to-use TV with a channel guide and high shower head (I'm 6'3"). Those are very important things in a hotel.

This property is the closest hotel to the coveted Ruby Tuesday (excellent salad bar).

Breakfast bar is well-cared for and constantly re-stocked. There is always ice water available (a big plus). Nice guest laundry (very quick, newer machines)

Rooms are exceptionally clean. After watching a Travel Channel episode of Hotel Impossible, I ran my finger atop across of the picture frames checking for dust. There was none.

That's impressive. As in five star cleanliness.

Elevators are quick. Indoor pool and hot tub with ample towels.

I notice the GM helping out, inspecting rooms. That is good to see, she actually cares about her property. Marriott should be estatic to have her.

Will & Monica (Front Desk) are painless to deal with.

Overall, five stars plus for this property. A great choice for DIA. I look forward to my return.
