We were on vacation in Denver and I decided to Google soul food in Dever and CoraFaye's came up. It was 1pm on a Thursday when we got there. My son ordered chicken & waffles and my husband & I shared 1lb of catfish dinner. The waffle seemed old and was little hard and so was his chicken leg. Our catfish didn't seem like catfish but maybe a different type of fish, but it was freshly cooked. The cornbread was dry. The breading on the okra was falling off and could have used more seasoning. The greens and candied yams were good. The louisiana hot sauce on the table seemed watered down. The service was friendly but slow. This restaurant was on drive ins diners and dives so we were hoping for some good food but we were unimpressed.
