The downtown Denver Comfort Inn is conveniently located to many fun things to do. My friend and I walked to the Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field and enjoyed the easy access to the 16th Street Mall for lots of shopping and great dining. We never once used the rental car because everything we wanted to do was right there. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is courteous. The room had a wonderful downtown view, especially at night and the accommodations were luxurious and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back soon.

The Comfort Inn in dowtown Denver is an excellent value for those who want a good bed, decent size room, full breakfast and all the expected extras like irons, hair dryers, etc. The location can't be beat - and for some reason, it is connected to the historic Brown Palace by a sky bridge, which totally upgrades the atmosphere. Good advice from a previous traveler that I pass on to you - if you need real quiet, get a room away from the elevators.

Wanted to stay downtown for a good rate and found Comfort Inn. Don't be fooled by its connection to the Brown Palace, its not the same palce! But its good for being downtown and close to 16th street and the Pavilion. Checkout was noon so good for sleeping in.

I was here for a convention - walking distance to the convention center; right off 16th street mall; breakfast included; convenient 24hr access to valet parking, free wi-fi, slightly lower cost than closer hotels all upsides. But, as others have said, the walls were thin (you could hear doors close/slam - I was woken at 530 one day), and at times the front desk was crowded. I wasn't bothered by the gap at the bottom of the door - a "design feature" night light of sorts... Hotel staff were all very helpful - and the Brown Palace is adjacent, and worth a visit. Overall, it was a decent room, but I would choose elsewhere next time.

the hotel is well located for the 16th street mall which has loads of bars and resturants to choose from but the rooms are small and cramped feeling-there is a huge gap at the bottom of the door which floods the room with light from the corridor all night and, despite having controls on the wall, it is impossible to turn the air conditioning off, on, up or down! other reviewers have complained at having to pay $20 for the valet parking but i think this is great value for money for a city centre location (this is no matter how long your stay is & you can come and go as often as you like) -the nearest car park charges $23 per day. the breakfast is pretty much the norm for this type of hotel but the self-serve area is in a very small room which is crowded if more than 4 people are in it at the same time.

Don't expect to get much sleep here. The room walls are paper thin and there is a 2 inch gap under the door that lets in all light and sound. Had to stuff pillows in front of it. When I was in hallway waiting for elevator, could hear everyone's conversatins in their rooms -- no provacy! The cleanliness was below average, and the plumbing in my room leaked everytime I flushed the toilet. Could not get a decent shower, water stayed cold then went to incredibly hot, nothing in between. And the shower did not drain properly, by the end of my shower, I was standing in 4-6 inches of water.
Hotel seems to attract busloads of tourists for overnight stays. This means 50-100 people checking in a the same time, with only 2 elevators to service all 18 floors. Also, the free breakfast was impossible to get to, with all those tour groups showing up at the same time, no matter what time I went down, I could not get breakfast or coffee or a paper.
Definitely NOT a place to stay for business travel, which is unfortunate because it is located in a great part of downtown Denver, near the 16th St Mall and all public transporation.

This is a very nice hotel overall. The rooms are clean and the bed was one of the best ever. One down side for me was the mandatory valet parking. You do have 24 hour access to your auto however you wait on an attendant to bring it up or you have the option of walking with them to the garage. And the parking fee is $20 a day. One elevator was out of order on the second day but they had people working on it when we went to eat breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast was good and the breakfast area was comfortable and roomy.
