Hotel was very unique as each floor has a different theme. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is great for downtown Denver. What a great value for the money. The lobby decor is intriguing and a conversation piece. Every floor has a theme which I am sure even small children would get a kick out of. It's very tasteful and covers many decades in the past for us gen xer's. The location is excellent at 14th and Curtis and the valet parking was perfect for the 5 degree weather in Denver we had last week. I would highly recommend it if you are traveling to Denver.

I recently stayed at the Curtis because I had a work party at Mile High and we got a cheaper rate there. First, no cookie when we got there. Not a big deal but if they are going to pride themselves on always having warm cookies when you arrive, they should have them. Staff was ok, Seeming more of forced politeness than really genuine. Old hotel that they are attempting to upgrade but not really impressed. Can't completely block the window so it was light early and unable to sleep in after a night out. Only valet parking which was $28 (parked across the street for less than $20). Bottles of water in the room that if you drink they charge you $4 (small print indicate this). Nothing horribly wrong, but probably wouldn't stay there again unless it was by far the cheapest option.

Hi Shawn S;
Thank you for your review and please accept my apologies. We want to impress you every moment of your stay and we clearly came up short. The cookie at check in IS a big deal - it's part of who we are and not something that can be overlooked. We have shared your review with our team and have reiterated the importance of this warm welcome.

All the best.

This hotel has a great location! It is ideal for visit to the theater complex. The building is older and due to this the rooms are on the small side but nicely furnished. The bathroom was fully stocked with great towels, something I find is often overlooked. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I love that they accept pets!

I stayed one night at the Curtis, arrived early on Sunday morning so I had brunch at the restaurant great food great service.
The hotel is very unique it is pop culture on steroids the lobby has fun old games you can check out and play. Every floor has a different theme I really did walk through every floor to enjoy the movie posters and artifact.
The rooms also have a cool feel, over my toilet they had a bobble head of Dudley do right.
The front desk staff is very friendly and gave me some ideas of what to do my one night in Denver.

We stayed one night and prepaid for the stay months ago, but phantom charges keep showing up on my credit card. I expected the parking charge and the extremely overpriced breakfast buffet charge, but now another $60 is for what?! When I call the hotel, they just say to wait. I have waited and more charges just keep showing up.

Room Tip: Corner rooms offer great views.

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend with friends at The Curtis Hotel in Denver. The front desk staff was top notch, especially Alyssa. The fresh baked cookies at check-in were a nice surprise. The bed was very comfortable and the quirky retro decor was fun and well-done. We walked the few blocks to Larimer Square and enjoyed shopping and a wonderul lunch at a French bistro, Cafe Vendome. Later in the evening, we went to Adams Mystery Playhouse for a very fun murder mystery dinner, which I would highly recommend. Overall, it was a great experience.
