I stayed at Magnolia 5 nights during a conference (which was actually held at a different, but close hotel). I chose Magnolia because of it's good price point compared to other hotels in the downtown area & the amnenities they offered. My room was small, but well designed. I was able to get a refrigerator & small coffee maker. The breakfast was varied & good. The cocktail hour with free wine, beer & some specialty drinks was quite nice. And, of course, who can resist cookies & milk drinks at night!! The service was very good, giving us close options for affordable dining. The parking was not that easy. We chose to park our car ourselves rather than pay the valet fee. While the parking garage is attached to the hotel, you do have to walk outside to return to the hotel - which would have been OK if it had not been snowing & cold. All in all, it was a good experience & I would probably stay there again.

Room Tip: My room was on the inside overlooking the courtyard walls. Rooms on the outside are probably larger...

Just up for one day on business and from the outside nothing flash about this hotel. But when you drive up you're greeted by friendly staff eagerly waiting to assist. Check-in was quick and they gave me a free room upgrade to a fireplace suites room. With 3 elevators there was never a wait more than a minute. Once you enter the room you first notice the decor, design and layout. Being in Denver it was a bit chilly so the fireplace was nice addition. The bedroom was down the hall and not directly adjacent to the living space which I appreciated. I'm not one for wet bars and also appreciated a decent little fridge I could put 3 six packs and snacks with room to spare. Nice kitchen area as well with bar style counter. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and very clean (I always look for bed begs). Nice bedding and pillows as well. The bathroom with shower/tub was also very clean and looked new. "Super quiet" accommodations. I had the free continental breakfast - awesome food and was not disappointed. Being downtown you are in walking distance to everything. Only quibbles were internet access turned off next morning. And overnight parking was a bit high at $29 + tip. All in all I give this hotel 9 of 10 so certainly deserving of 5 stars.

Room Tip: always ask for free upgrade - the building isn't tall in comparison to others so no need to opt...

My son and I are vacationing as he wants to move to Denver. It's only day 3 of our trip and I can't believe how lucky we are to have booked this hotel. The Magnolia has made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the doors. Everyone is kind, helpful, friendly, and wonderful. You can't ask for a better location. The rooms are perfect, free breakfast is outstanding, and happy hour is great. There are comfortable couches and chairs downstairs and a small library to cozy up with a book. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel and its staff. I highly recommend it!!! H. Carson, New York

Breakfast, evening drinks and cookies and milk...wonderful freebies that give this hotel a view that people are more important than money.
There is also a free car available to ferry you around...although this is gratuity based should you wish. The driver was great and easily got us to wherever we needed.

Hotel is quite good. Nice, quite big rooms, clean, good location. They have slow and not stable wi-fi internet...
Business partner offered dinner in hotel's meeting room. Food was the worst I had last couple years. Fish - they said it is trout- was impossible to eat, their "hotel white wine" was bad, desert "cream brule" was strange pudding...

We stayed here last month and really enjoyed the Magnolia. The location is very convenient and the staff is very accommodating. The building is on the older side, but is very tastefully decorated. We missed the evening happy hours, but loved the nightly complimentary milk and cookies in the spacious lounge area, where we enjoyed some family time playing pool and relaxing in the library. Would definitely stay here again.
